Ekta Kapoor recently revealed the same during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 19. Fans were eager to know who would lead the 7th installment of the popular show, and as Priyanka's name was announced, people were left excited.

Priyanka Chahar Choudhary seemingly confirms her breakup with Ankit Gupta

Apart from Priyanka's professional life, her personal life also became a topic of discussion. Priyanka's bond with her former co-star, Ankit Gupta, was celebrated among their fans, so much so that together they were called 'PriyAnkit'. Well, for months, speculations were rife that Priyanka and Ankit had called it quits. While they didn't directly confirm the buzz, recently the actress dropped a hint about her current equation with Ankit, as Salman Khan asked her about the same on Bigg Boss 19.

While being on Bigg Boss 19, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary talked about her own time on the show as she talked to the contestant. She also shared how taking part in the show actually changed her life. Well, when she was about to exit, Salman Khan asked her about her current equation with Ankit Gupta. The host asked Priyanka if Ankit is still a part of her life. The entire room was filled with silence as Salman asked Priyanka this question, and the actress, with a faint smile, nodded 'no', thereby hinting that they aren't together.

This is the first time Priyanka has commented on her equation with Ankit since the breakup buzz began. To mention, Priyanka and Ankit never confirmed their dating buzz during the time they were together. They have always tagged each other as their best friends. It was a few months back when their breakup buzz began, as the duo unfollowed each other on social media. On top of that, Ankit decided to leave a show with Priyanka before it even began, which led people to wonder whether the rumours about their breakup were true. In an IG post, Priyanka lashed out at those who continued to talk about her personal life, stating that if work had gotten this much attention rather than her personal life, the industry would be unstoppable.

On the other hand, Ankit Gupta, during an interview at Bombay Times Fashion Week 2025, was asked whether the speculations about his and Priyanka's breakup were true. To this, Ankit mentioned that it's between two people as it had always been, and thus, he wouldn't let any third person enter in this. He was also asked whether he was dating someone else, to which he declined to comment. For the unversed, there had been speculation that Priyanka and Ankit were already married, but they always dismissed such claims and referred to each other as close friends. Ankit said:

"Whatever it is, it is always been between two people. It is between two people, and it always will be between two people. And we cannot allow nor do we allow any third person to get into our whatever it (equation) is."
