Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have been living in a luxurious mansion in Los Angeles since 2019, along with their daughter, Malti Marie. However, the family of three has reportedly moved out of their home due to some reason. Moreover, Priyanka, who used to post multiple pictures from her mansion, has now stopped doing the same. Amid all this, a report has surfaced online, which revealed the real reason behind Priyanka and Nick moving out of their mansion worth USD 20 million.
A report by Page Six stated that Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have moved out of their LA home property as it became virtually unlivable. It so happened that the water damage in the house led to a mold infestation, which made it dangerous to live from a health perspective. The couple is currently in a legal battle with the sellers of the house, who sold the property for USD 20 million in 2019. As per the lawsuit, which was filed in May 2023, it was stated that:
"The pool and spa began to present a series of issues around April 2020, including porous waterproofing that fostered mould contamination and related issues. At or about the same time, a water leak appeared at the barbecue area on the deck. This leak damaged a portion of the interior living area immediately below the deck.”

The report further suggested that the cost of the repair will be somewhere around USD 1.5 million to USD 2.5 million, which is approximately Rs. 13 to 20 crores. In an interaction with the same publication, lawyer, Fred Fenster, who represents the trustee, explained that there has been some delay as everyone involved is suing one another to deter the blame. The lawyer said:
“The trustee filed the lawsuit against the builder, the builder then filed a cross-complaint against sub-contractors, the sub-contractors then filed lawsuits against their people. It’s like everybody who put a pick or a shovel in the property is going to be involved, and it’s going to be up to the builder to decide and prove who was responsible for the defects.”
In the meantime, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, along with their 2-year-old daughter, Malti, have moved into another property. They will be back after the repair of their luxe home is going on. Moreover, the report also stated that Nick and Priyanka have asked for reimbursement for all costs of repair, along with compensation for the loss of use and other damages.

Earlier, a netizen shared some screengrabs of a report claiming that Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas have moved out of their LA home worth USD 20 million on Reddit. The report mentioned that the duo has been facing a financial crunch for a long time now, and thus, they have turned to the bank to pay the mortgage. As Nick and Priyanka are bound to pay USD 100K per month as rent for their mansion, they couldn't even pay that amount. Soon, netizens flooded the comment section and reacted to the same.
