Priyanka Chopra is an absolute powerhouse of talent, who has made her country proud with her exceptional performances. The diva, who migrated to the Hollywood some years back, has evolved her identity as a global icon, and is ruling countless hearts worldwide. Apart from her exceptional acting prowess that simply doesn’t require an introduction, Priyanka is also revered for her strong personality and bold opinions. In her personal life, she is married to American pop singer, Nick Jonas and the two are parents to their daughter, Malti Marie.
Taking to her IG stories recently, Priyanka Chopra dropped an unseen picture of herself, along with her contemporary, Katrina Kaif. Well, the picture must have been something that PeeCee stumbled upon after so many years, since it dates back to a time when both the divas were quite young and were at the starting of their careers. While Priyanka donned a racy green choli over a pair of denims, Katrina, too matched her style and paired a golden choli with denims. Atop the picture, Priyanka penned a note of surprise and called themselves babies. In her words:
“Woah… Dunno who took it and when this picture was taken but babies…@katrinakaif."

Earlier, during a conversation with Cavanaugh James on his show, Read The Room, Priyanka Chopra opened up for the first time, about the massive transition period in her career, as she shifted her base from Bollywood to Hollywood. She explained how it felt like starting everything anew. Moreover, Priyanka revealed that it took the new industry and the people much time to finally absorb and accept her in, which was very contradictory to the inclusive attitude she dealt with back in her country. She explained:
“It was like starting all over again. I started right from the beginning. I have been on the cover of a certain magazine six times in my country, but in the US, they wouldn't even take a meeting with me. That took a lot, and I was like it’s okay!”
A month back, Priyanka Chopra took to her IG handle and dropped two pictures of herself. While the first one dated back to her glorific moment after winning the title of Miss World in 2000, the next frame was a much more recent one, wherein she could be seen facing a mirror. Along with these two, the diva penned a long and thoughtful note, as she retrospected about her evolution from the past till now. In her words:
“How it started.. how it’s going. PS: those 2000s brows tho. My 17 year old self was just trying to pretend like I belonged. In that moment I was desperately trying to keep it together. With the weight of the heavy sari and the newly acquired crown flimsily pinned into my hair with 2 bobby pins, my confidence was slowly slipping as well. But I held it together, just like my sari, with a few safety pins.”

Previously, in one of her interviews with India Today, Priyanka Chopra recalled a surprising moment in her career in the West, when she was surprised to know that pay parity existed in Hollywood as well. Priyanka revealed that it wasn’t until her talent agency informed her that she can demand the same money like her male counterpart in a certain project, that she eventually learned about the matter.
