Global icon, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is a brilliant actress, who has time and again proved her versatility in the field of acting both in Bollywood and Hollywood. The former beauty queen, who won the Miss World 2000 pageant, went on to become one of the highest-paid actresses in Bollywood. Well, PeeCee also became a prominent name across the world, after she appeared in a few Hollywood projects.
Priyanka Chopra was last seen in the web series, Citadel, alongside actor, Richard Madden. Earlier, the actress was on a full-fledged promotional spree for her action thriller, but it looks like the audience wasn't much impressed with the project. Recently, a Reddit user shared the news about Citadel failing miserably and becoming a flop with a loss of USD 250 million. Trolling the actress for her back-to-back failures in Hollywood, the user urged PeeCee to return to Bollywood. The user penned:
"Laut aao didi... it's really despairing, that even after a decade in Hollywood...not only has she not given a decent hit, but all of her projects are utter flops!!"

Now, the post is widely being circulated on social media, and netizens are slamming Priyanka for being a flop actress in Hollywood. Reacting to the post, one user commented, "I actually think her marriage with Nick has HELPED get her as far as she has and created atleast some buzz around her. Without that she wouldn't have survived even two movies." Meanwhile, another one penned, "Come back and do what? The Bollywood audience has moved on. Her last comeback Sky is Pink was also a disaster. Some online fans shouting all day about her doesn't mean the general audience cares about her." Check out the comments below:
Earlier, in a conversation with Dax Shepherd on his podcast Armchair Expert, Priyanka Chopra opened up about how the people in Bollywood ganged up against her. She revealed how she was pushed into a corner in the industry and was tired of the dirty politics played here. Elaborating how she planned to take a break then, she had said:
“I was being pushed into a corner in the industry (Bollywood). I had people not casting me, I had beef with people, I am not good at playing that game so I kind of was tired of the politics and I said I needed a break."

On the personal front, Priyanka Chopra got married to American pop singer, Nick Jonas, on December 1, 2018, according to Hindu and Christian rituals. Later, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, Malti Marie in January 2022 via surrogacy. For the unversed, Malti was born premature and was kept in the NICU for 100 days before she could finally go home with her parents. However, now Malti is doing absolutely fine and is busy stealing our hearts with her cuteness. Priyanka, Nick, and Malti currently reside in their luxurious LA home, along with their furry pets.
