A father is his daughter's biggest support, loudest cheerleader, and the best friend she could ever ask for. Fathers hold a special place in their daughters' hearts and the bond between the two cannot be expressed in words. However, imagining a life without a father is nothing short of a nightmare. Well, some daughters do lost their dads at a young age due to uncontrollable circumstances, and their lives become miserable.
Bollywood actress, Priyanka Chopra Jonas was extremely close to her father, late Ashok Chopra. Every now and then, we have seen the actress talking about her relationship with her late father, who passed away at the age of 64. For the unversed, it was in 2013, when Priyanka's father left for his heavenly abode after a long battle with cancer. Ever since then, Priyanka misses her daddy dearest everyday, and her IG handle is proof of the same.

On August 24, 2022, taking to her IG handle, Priyanka Chopra Jonas shared an unseen childhood picture with her dad, Dr Ashok Chopra. In the priceless photo, the little Priyanka can be seen enjoying in the snow with her dad at a hill station. She can be seen smiling her brightest as she looked cutely at her daddy dearest in the candid moment. The memorable moment between the father-daughter duo was too cute for words. Sharing the picture, PeeCee penned:
"Happy birthday dad. We miss u. Everyday."
Priyanka Chopra Jonas has always been her 'Daddy's little girl', and she misses him everyday. On December 10, 2020, Priyanka Chopra Jonas had taken to her IG handle and shared a super-cute picture of herself from her childhood. In the priceless picture, PeeCee could be seen dressed in her late father, Ashok Chopra’s army uniform. Along with it, the actress had penned that her father was her idol and revealed how he motivated her throughout her life. Her note could be read as
“#TBT to little Priyanka. This is a photo from the album in my upcoming book. I used to love following my dad around the house dressed in his Army uniform. I wanted to grow up and be exactly like him. He was my idol. My dad encouraged my sense of adventure. Even as a little girl... I was always out exploring, looking for adventure, trying to uncover something new. My urge was to do something that hadn’t been done before, to discover something that no one had found yet. I always wanted to be first. That urge drives me every day, in every single thing I do. #Unfinished.”

In an interview with the British magazine, Tatler in March 2020, Priyanka Chopra Jonas had talked about how her father, Dr Ashok Chopra always supported her. Recalling the moment when her grandmother would worry about Priyanka's marriage as she didn't know how to cook, the actress revealed her late father's reaction to the same. She had said:
“'Who’s going to marry her? She can’t cook.’ And my dad would say, ‘I’ll send a cook with her. She never needs to go into the kitchen.’ My mum didn’t know how to cook when she got married. My dad taught her how. And he taught her everything he liked to eat. Clever man.”
