Priyanka Chopra Jonas would have never thought of getting married to the American pop sensation, Nick Jonas. After dating for some time, the duo had gotten rokafied on August 18, 2018. The diva had taken all her fans by surprise when she had posted pictures from her roka ceremony, making her relationship official. On December 1, 2018, the much-in-love couple had tied the knot with each other at Umaid Bhawan Palace as per both Christian as well as Hindu rituals. For their white wedding, Priyanka and Nick had worn a Ralph Lauren gown whereas, for their Hindu wedding, the couple had opted for the designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Since their wedding, the couple has been sharing cute pictures with each other on their respective social media handles. From their mushy pictures to their PDAs, the duo has been giving major couple goals to the millennials.
Recently, Priyanka did a fashion photoshoot for the British magazine, Tatler and the gorgeous actress spoke about embracing the next phase of her life. She talked about starting a family with Nick Jonas, and stated, “Right now, this year’s really packed for me in terms of the work that I’m doing and the work that I’ve taken on. But having a family is very important to me and it always has been. It is something that I definitely want to do and I’m hoping that whenever God wills it, at the right, opportune time, it’ll happen.” She also talked about prioritising her marriage above everything and also revealed that despite a demanding career, she and her husband make sure to see each other regularly.
Speaking of how her father used to support her when her grandmother would worry about her granddaughter's marriage, Priyanka Chopra recalled, “Who’s going to marry her? She can’t cook.’ And my dad would say, ‘I’ll send a cook with her. She never needs to go into the kitchen.’ My mum didn’t know how to cook when she got married. My dad taught her how. And he taught her everything he liked to eat. Clever man.”
Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who is riding high on her professional front, often juggles between India and the US. The Desi Girl of Bollywood had attended a charity festival, Umang 2020 to pay her respects for the Mumbai Police. Priyanka had grabbed many eyeballs with her ethnic look as she had opted for a royal blue coloured saree with a matching sleeveless blouse. She had accentuated her look with bangles and a bindi. On January 19, 2020, Priyanka had shared a picture of her ethnic look and it was her hubby, Nick Jonas' comment which was unmissable. He had commented, ‘Stunning’ on his wife's picture. Priyanka and Nick are made for each other and are a true inspiration. In an interview with the Harper Bazaar, Priyanka had talked about the reason behind dating Nick. She had revealed that it was his music video, Close, which made her fall in love with him. Talking about the same, she had stated, “My life has always been pretty musical, and now with Nick, it's completely musical. I decided to date him after seeing the video for 'Close,' where his shirt comes off. So that song is my favorite."
In an interaction with E! News, Nick had candidly spoken about having kids with Priyanka. The handsome Nick was quoted as saying, "I think that in everything we do, you know, my brothers and I, Priyanka and I, everything we do we think about the future. And building something that becomes a part of a legacy in some way, and a story we can share with our kids in the future."
