Priyanka Chopra Jonas has made a brand for herself with her stellar acting skills and sartorial fashion statements. She had tied the marital knot with singer, Nick Jonas on December 1, 2018, in a royal wedding ceremony. In 2022, the duo had embraced parenthood for the first time via surrogacy. And since then, we are impatiently waiting to get the first glimpse of Priyanka and Nick's little one. And recently we stumbled upon an old marriage proposal to Priyanka Chopra from her friend in the industry and amazed to see how the diva had wittily rejected him.
For the unversed, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and her husband, Nick Jonas, had announced the arrival of their first child, on the night of January 22, 2022, with a picture message. They had taken to their respective social media handles and had posted a long note, which had revealed that they had welcomed their baby via surrogacy. The duo had also requested privacy to celebrate the time with their family.

In an interview with the Times Of India, a source close to Priyanka Chopra revealed that Hollywood star, Gerard Butler, was once in love with her. The source further added that Gerard used to ask Pee Cee for marriage every half an hour, but she wasn’t at all interested in him. Once, Gerard had also come to India and Priyanka had also hosted a party in his honour. The source quoted as saying:
“Of course, the party was for Gerard who was completely besotted by Priyanka and kept proposing to her every half hour. It's become a standing joke rather a 'kneeling' joke between them. 'Will you marry me?' he knelt and said every half hour while she would burst into laughter. She's clearly not interested in being Mrs Butler.”
In a 2012 interview with the IANS, Gerard had opened up about his feelings for Priyanka. He had also mentioned that he was single and was waiting for the diva. Gerard had said:
"Last year, Priyanka was here in the US and I was going out of town to a wedding. I stay in Malibu and she was coming to party at Malibu and I couldn't meet. I was even thinking of missing the plane and going and saying hello because I hadn't seen her in a long time. But we are in touch all the time. I am still single because I am waiting for Priyanka Chopra.”

On March 3, 2022, the new mommy, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, was spotted by the paparazzi while shopping on the street of Los Angeles. She had looked gorgeous in a black Global Citizen top and had paired it with a deep green jacket, blue denim and a pair of sunglasses. Priyanka was also seen carrying a tote bag with her while shopping.
As soon as the pictures were uploaded by the fan page, Pee Cee was trolled, for gaining weight. One of the users had commented, "Moti ho gyi,” another user had written, “Yo to Ghani mooti ho gai,” while one another user had mentioned, “Wow fatty pc.” But many of her fans had also dropped comments and had supported her like, “Gorgeous PC”.
On February 24, 2022, taking to her IG handle, Priyanka Chopra Jonas had shared a photo dump with a series of pictures. In the photo dump, she had shared pictures of her, caviar fries, her pets, a photo with her husband, Nick Jonas and a glimpse of her baby's nursery with lots of teddy bears and an idol of Lord Krishna. Sharing the photo, Priyanka had written:
"Photo dump."
