Project K is an upcoming Indian science fiction action film, which is one of the most-anticipated films in India. The film is directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by C. Aswani Dutt for Vyjayanthi Movies. The film was announced in February 2020 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Vyjayanthi Movies. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the film's production faced a year-long delay.
Filming of Project K finally commenced in July 2021, utilising a futuristic set constructed at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. As per several reports, the fans can anticipate the theatrical release of Project K on January 12, 2024.

For the unversed, the director of the film, Project K, Nag Ashwin is one of the biggest names in the South Indian film industry. He has already proved the mettle of his filmmaking skills with movies like Yevade Subramanyam, Mahanati, Pitta Kathalu, and more. For his film, Mahanti, Nag Ashwin won the National Award for Best Director at the 66th National Film Awards.
Talking about the cast of Project K, the film includes a series of megastars from Bollywood and South Indian film industries. Some of the notable names in Project K's cast list are Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Deepika Padukone.
As per multiple reports, Project K boasts a staggering Rs. 600 crore budget. Project K is set to become one of the most expensive Indian films ever made. The movie isn’t just filled with a series of megastars but also some of the best sound designers and cinematographers. According to multiple reports, the film’s music score is helmed by Santhosh Narayanan. Djordje Stojiljkovic worked as the cinematographer, and Nitin Zihani Choudhary took control of the production design.
According to multiple media reports, Prabhas received an estimated fee of Rs. 100 crores for his previous films, Adipurush and Radhe Shyam. Not only this, but he had also received a whopping payment of Rs. 70 crores for his film, Saaho, which was also a commercial failure. Despite all these films being unsuccessful at the box office, there’s no dip in Prabhas’ fee per film. As per the latest reports, Prabhas received an estimated sum of Rs. 150 crores for his upcoming film, Project K.
The Bollywood legend, Amitabh Bachchan is also playing a major role in Nag Ashwin’s Project K. If the reports are to be believed, Big B has been paid a massive sum of Rs. 18 crores for the film.

Earlier, reports were rife that South Indian superstar, Kamal Haasan is charging an estimated sum of Rs. 150 crores for working in the ambitious film, Project K. However, as per the latest reports, Kamal Hassan’s fee for the film is just Rs. 20 crores.
The Bollywood divas, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani are also going to be a part of the film, Project K. Talking about their respective remuneration for the ambitious movie, both actresses are getting a pretty decent amount. While Deepika is charging a sum of Rs. 20 crores for the film, Disha is receiving an estimated sum of Rs. 2 crores for her role in the film.
