For the unversed, Aamir and his first wife, Reena Dutta's daughter, Ira is all set to get married on January 3, 2024, to her longtime beau, Nupur Shikhare. Ahead of that, she was awarded for her work in the mental health field. Thus, a video has been going viral on social media, wherein the doting daddy can be spotted kissing Ira.
On December 10, 2023, we stumbled upon a video of Ira Khan, who often talks about mental health and the importance of family. In the video, she was seen walking towards her seat while carrying an award in her hand. She was awarded for her immense work and advocacy for mental health awareness. She looked stunning in a black saree paired with a full-sleeved blouse. As the video progressed, she was seen seated while her daddy, Aamir Khan, who was incredibly proud of her, came from behind and kissed her. The video proved Aamir's love and support for his little girl. In the same video, Reena Dutta was also spotted seated at the same table.

Taking to her IG handle, on December 7, 2023, Ira dropped a video compilation of her friends, who were seen unboxing their 'bridesmaid invites'. At the beginning of the video, her friends were seen shocked after seeing the custom-made puzzle invites, which Ira also asked them to record while completing the whole process. The video showed some of Ira's friends absolutely confused, while some were successful. The invite also had a 'Bride Squad' diary with some journal pens. Along with the video, Ira penned a heartfelt note and also mentioned that she has been planning the invite since April 2023. An excerpt from her note could be read as:
"Popeye: Edit it bit by bit. Me: Does it in one night? This has been on the to-do since April. Better late than never. I love you guys so much. Do you see the variety and range of the people in my life? Don’t miss the contrast between Zayn and Danielle’s reaction to puzzles, Danielle’s montage of 'It’s so cute!', the contrast between Kshitej and everyone else’s reactions, the following and not following of instructions (clearly they were not clear enough), all the various cameramen and their running commentary."

On November 6, 2023, Ira Khan took to her IG handle and dropped cute pictures from her pre-wedding ceremony. For the function, the celebrity kid wore a red-coloured Nauvari saree with a golden border. She styled her outfit with a black strappy blouse and accentuated her look with floral jewellery, a Maharashtrian nath, a red bindi and minimal makeup. On the other hand, Nupur opted for a yellow-toned kurta, and together, they looked stunning while posing for the lens.

It was on September 22, 2022, when Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare announced their engagement. Earlier, in an interview with India Today, Ira had opened up about her relationship with her fiance, Nupur. Talking about the same, Ira mentioned that initially, she didn't want to date Nupur. Further, revealing the reason behind the same, Ira shared that she didn't want a relationship as a lot of things were going in her head. But later, she confronted Nupur, and from then on, they are together. Ira also added that Nupur took care of her when she was low.
