PT Usha's DIL, Krisha Decks Up In Kanjivaram And Temple Jewels As She Marries Former's Son, Vignesh

PT Usha's marital life with V. Srinivasan had been marked by mutual respect and support. He backed her throughout her career, including during her breaks and other ventures. The couple's son, Vignesh, also continued to hold the ties of the family to sports, but through medicine rather than competition. For the unversed, Vignesh earned his MBBS degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru. 

Following this, he went to Switzerland to earn an International Olympic Committee (IOC) Diploma in Sports Medicine. He currently serves as a sports medicine doctor at the Usha School of Athletics, which PT Usha founded in Kerala. Well, now, Dr. Vignesh has geared up in his personal life as he got married recently to his lady love, Krishna. PT Usha revealed that it's a new step in her son's life, and it's a source of pride for a mom.

PT Usha said that it's been four years since his son revealed his wish to get married. It was an arranged marriage between Vignesh and his now-wife, Krishna, as revealed by PT Usha. She revealed that her son liked the girl, and after the proposal about marriage, they spent some time together and got to know each other, following which they decided to get married. PT Usha could be quoted as saying:

"This marriage is the next stage in the life of the son. It is the greatest joy in the life of a mother. It is an arranged marriage. It has been four years since the son started looking for marriage. He got the girl he liked the most and the kind of girl he wanted as his partner. After the proposal came, both of them understood each other. After that, they decided to get married."

On August 25, 2025, Dr. Vignesh and Krishna Asok got married in a lavish ceremony at Le Meridien Hotel. Krishna, the daughter of Ashok Kumar and Shini from Kochi, looked simply gorgeous as she slipped into a Kanjivarma saree, which was woven with broad golden zari borders and intricate motifs. She teamed the saree with a matching blouse.

Krishna's heavy traditional temple jewels stole the show. Krishna teamed her saree with a choker, which has intricate nakshi work on it. The choker was teamed with a long layered necklace, following the same motifs that the choker featured. Krishna opted for a beautiful Temple maang-teeka, along with matching earrings, kamarbandh, vanki and rings. She opted for simple makeup and a braided hairstyle adorned with a gajra. On the other hand, the groom, Vignesh, looked handsome in a beige-toned kurta, dhoti and scarf.

The duo looked so in love as they posed with each other for some love-filled photos. Several glimpses have surfaced from their wedding, and Mary Kom also stole the show with her traditional look in a golden saree and jewels. For the unversed, it was back in July 2025, when Krishna and Vignes exchanged rings. For the day, the couple opted for traditional attire. While Krishna looked pretty in a rama-green-toned saree with jewels, Vignesh twinned with her in a matching sherwani.
