Pulkit Samrat's Ex-Wife Shweta Got Severely Injured In A Road Accident, Shares Update From Hospital

Shweta Rohira, the first wife of Pulkit Samrat met with an accident on January 29, 2025. For the unversed, Shweta kickstarted her career back in 2018 with Sunil Thadani's short film, Parineeti. However, she rose to fame with her role in the play, That's My Girl. Apart from that, she was also seen in Filmy Chick. Shweta was also a model and collaborated with brands like Ritus Secondskin, Boy London, Aishpara, Indrayani, Tasta, and Jellyfish Studio. Well, she recently shared photos from the hospital, wherein she was admitted after getting severely injured due to a road accident.

Taking to her IG handle, Shweta Rohira shared two photos. In one of the photos, she was seen lying on the hospital bed, and she looked devastated. Another photo featured her lips, which got majorly injured due to the accident that she faced. In the note of the caption, Shweta shared how she is struck by the unpredictability of life.

Shweta revealed how she was hit by a bike while walking, and how it resulted in her fractured bones and bruises. In her note, she further mentioned how life often breaks us only to teach us a lesson, and give us a reason to come back stronger. She shared that she is in utter pain, but she isn't losing her hope and will come back stronger soon.

When Shweta Rohira talked about her broken marriage with Pulkit Samrat

For the unversed, Pulkit Samrat and Shweta Rohira got married in 2014, and within just one year of their marriage, the duo parted ways. In 2015, they were divorced. It was Shweta, who reportedly, accused Yami Gautam of breaking her marriage with Pulkit. There has been a lot of talk about Rohira and Pulkit's divorce. Shweta, in an interview with SpotBoye, opened up about the same. Talking about why she decided to end her marriage, Shweta said that she just wanted to put a full stop to it, and she didn't want any of them to be dependent on anyone for anything, for that matter.

Shweta is also the Rakhi sister of Bollywood's Bhaaijaan, Salman Khan. In the same interview, she was asked if Salman had any idea about her and Pulkit's divorce, or if she talked to him about the same, the actress revealed that Bhaijaan knew everything. When she was asked if she endorsed her former claim that Yami Gautam was the reason for breaking her wedding, she denied even knowing the actress.
