Allu Arjun has shared his first post on X (formely Twitter) after his luxurious home in Hyderabad's Jubilee Hills got vandalised. The actor has been in the middle of controversy ever since his film, directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2, released. The star faced legal wrath after a lady named Revathi died in the stampede that took place outside Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. Her son, Sri Teja is critically injured and the actor had to spend a night in jail. Now, the Telugu actor has not commented on the events but has taken to X to comment on a post.
On December 23, 2024, at 10.19 pm, Allu Arjun took to X to express his gratitude to Yash Raj Films. The production house had given a perfect shoutout to Pushpa 2 as it had broken several records at the box office. The post by YRF read, "Records are meant to be broken and new ones push everyone towards excellence. Congratulations, to the entire #Pushpa2TheRule team for rewriting history books. Fire nahi, wildfire!!!!" Allu Arjun commented on the tweet by writing:
"Thank you … so graceful . Humbled by your wishes. Thank you , I am touched . May this record soon be broken by a heart-melting #YRF film , and may we all collectively move towards excellence."
Now, in the latest new development, Congress leader, Theenmar Mallanna has filed a new complaint against actor, Allu Arjun for insulting the police force in his action drama film, Pushpa 2: The Rule. He had expressed his dissatisfaction with a scene that had taken place in Pushpa 2 where Allu Arjun was seen urinating in the pool while a police officer was seen in it. The politician called the scene 'disrespectful' and alleged that it degraded the law of top enforcement officers. The politician has also filed a complaint against Sukumar, the director of the movie and also the producers.
The leader demanded strict action against the makers of the film and urged police officials to take measures against the makers of the movie for the offensive portrayal of the cops. This came after a time when Revathi died in the stampede due to suffocation, and the crowd went berserk and out of control after the actor stepped out of his car to greet his fans who had come to attend the premiere of the movie.
The actor was arrested on December 13, 2024, in relation to the stampede case. He was taken from his residence and then sent to 14-day jail custody. He was immediately given interim bail for 4 weeks on a personal bond of Rs. 50,000. However, because of a delay in the paperwork, he had to spend a night in jail. However, reportedly, the cops are all set to file a petition in the court against the actor's interim bail.
