Rachel Brosnahan has been a well-known actress since starring as 'Rachel Posner' in the highly acclaimed drama, House of Cards. However, the actress recently became an overnight sensation after portraying 'Lois Lane' opposite David Corenswet in James Gunn's Superman. Her chemistry with David was much talked about and loved by people.
However, it seems Rachel's husband and actor, Jason Ralph doesn't think so. After he liked an unhinged comment on Instagram, people have been speculating if all is well in their marital paradise. As Jason's like has sparked drama, here's everything to know about their marriage.
Both Rachel Brosnahan and her husband, Jason Ralph were popular TV stars. Though, the former moved onto the film industry, Jason is still a popular face of the small screen. They met on the sets of the indie film, I'm Obessed With You and started dating in 2013. After nearly five years of their relationship, Rachel was seen flaunting a wedding ring on her ring finger. People assumed that they had just gotten married but, Rachel told People, that they had been married for years. The actress was quoted as saying:
"We’ve been married for years and been together for even longer. We had a good laugh when the news came out that we had just got married, like 'Happy six-month anniversary, honey!'"
The couple had secretly gotten married without announcing the wedding to the public. In an interview, Rachel revealed that she had been private about her personal life and relationship because, as the name suggests, it is personal. Secondly, the actress also said that both of them found it very problematic that only she was asked about her relationship by the media and not Jason. Rachel was quoted as saying:
“I’ve been quite private about my personal life for a few reasons. The first being that it's just that: personal. Jason and I also noticed early on that, while we are both the leads of successful television series, he has almost never been asked about our relationship while I have been asked on almost every red carpet I have walked in the last two years. We both find this double standard problematic and frustrating and opted to redirect those conversations to our work.”
Before getting immense fame as 'Lois Lane' in Superman, Rachel Brosnahan first gained wide-spread recognition after starring in the comedy drama series, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel as the protagonist 'Midge Maisel'. Her husband, Jason Ralph also appeared in season 4 and 5 of the series as a supporting character named 'Mike Carr'. Talking about working with his wife, Ralph said to Entertainment Tonight:
"She's just the best, and I just feel very lucky to have gotten to be kind of like a fly on the wall. Who gets to see the person that they're married to, and love, command a set like that, and be a leader? I felt very lucky to be there."

Rachel Brosnahan and Jason Ralph has found themselves embroiled in drama after the latter liked a comment that was deemed very insulting towards the actress by people. The Instagram commentor had accused Rachel of not being able to control herself with a co-star and had asked Jason to leave his wife. Though, Jason has disabled his comment section after the debacle, screenshot of the shady comment and his like are still widely circulating on all social media platforms. The orginal comment on Rachel read:
“It’s genuinely sad to see your career being tucked out to be remembered as a cuckold because your wife couldn’t handle herself with her co-actor. Like bro.. let’s have some self love and stand up for yourself man, leave her to be with him if she wants that much at the end of the day.”
The internet has divided opinions on this drama. Some believe it to be an accident, while others think that there is trouble brewing between Jason and Rachel. Netizens are also left wondering which co-star could the comment be hinting towards. Rachel's chemistry has been liked with Luke Kirby in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, meanwhile her and David's scenes in Superman have also become iconic. Most people are of the opinion that given the global success that Rachel enjoyed after the latter, the comment is linking her up with David Corenswet.
