The film's plot is like an old wine wrapped under a glittering cover that is rich in action, high-voltage drama, thumping music, and an indestructible Salman bhai. The actor is portraying the character of a cop, who is an encounter specialist and has done 97 encounters in the last 10 years. After years of breaking bones and jaws, when Radhe was having some time off, another big problem arises in Mumbai and without a second thought, he makes a roaring comeback to bring down the drug racket in the city. While he was crushing his enemies, it was Diya (Disha Patani), who melts his heart, and their quirky love story in the middle of this action flick, is like a cup of warm tea during chilly winters.

There's no doubt that most of the things about Radhe's storyline are predictable, and the dialogues of the film are also way too clunky at times. But luckily, this time around, Prabhu Deva makes sure that his film doesn't fall into the category of cliches and instead, brings novelty to the viewers. Radhe provides relentless action, a strong villain like Rana (Randeep Hooda), and Salman Khan as Radhe in a never-seen-before bloodthirsty role in the film. There's no denying that the film's action is incredibly powerful, as it's completely raw, brutal, and not for the faint-hearted at times. The intense fight between Rana and Radhe is the point where you'll understand the hard work and excellence of South Korean stunt director, Myeong-haeng Heo, and action-director, Anbariv.

While Salman Khan and Randeep Hooda light up the film till the very end, stars like Jackie Shroff and Disha Patani turn out to be nothing more than just pacifiers in the film, whose ultimate work is to bring the tone of this gruesome film down. The actress is the film's eye-candy and adds glamour in the film with her stunning looks and fancy footwork on the dance floor. This is why Disha's fans will be a bit disappointed to see her character being unexplored in the film. Talking about the veteran actor, Jackie Shroff's character, Avinash Abhyankar (Diya's brother), the actor looked breathtakingly handsome throughout the film and has proved the mettle of his swaggy style once again. But the intensity for which Jaggu dada is known, wasn't in the film, even though he was ACP in the movie and Radhe's senior.

The film's music has already created a significant noise on the internet, and the title track of the film, Dil De Diya (Sajid-Wajid), is the much-needed peppy song and will lighten your mood in this devastating COVID-19 time. Talking about the background score from Sanchit and Ankit Balhara, then it has created a much-needed impact during particular scenes in the film. Despite all the film's predictability, Prabhu Deva has succeeded in making the most out of Salman's star-power and masculinity. Also, it'll be fair to say that this Radhe is far more dangerous and spine-chilling than the one we have witnessed in Wanted in 2009.

So, if you're a fan of action and bloodbath, then there's enough ammo installed by Prabhu Deva in the film, and you'll not be disappointed. But with that, you should also have the patience and guts to digest the babyish dialogues, silly comedy, and some loud and undeveloped brawny is used to define a man not a film.
