Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding festivities began with Anna Seva for around 51,000 people in the nearby village of Jamnagar. For the festivities, the bride-to-be, Radhika, donned a red-hued suit with heavy embroidery and an orange-hued dupatta. On the other hand, her husband-to-be, Anant, twinned with her in a matching red-coloured sherwani with a sleeveless jacket. The couple looked super happy to see paps from Mumbai in their hometown, Jamnagar, Gujarat.
On February 28, 2024, as the Ambani family hosted Anna Seva to seek blessings from the people, Radhika and Anant also participated in it and served food. We loved how adorably they served food with the greeting, "Jai Shree Krishna." The couple also posed for the paparazzi. In a video, we can see the couple looking super happy to see paps from Mumbai. It was the soon-to-be Ambani bahu, who asked them about the beauty of Jamnagar. She said:
"Jamnagar kaisa laga. Badhia hai na, hawa paani kaisa laga."

Radhika Merchant's family, including her parents, Viren Merchant and Shaila V Merchant, also participated in the Anna Seva. For those who don't know, the Ambani family is known for hosting Anna Seva ahead of their children's grand wedding. They had followed the same ritual for their daughter, Isha Ambani's wedding in 2018, and then for their son, Akash Ambani's wedding in 2019.
In an interview with India Today, Anant Ambani shared heaped praises on his lady love, Radhika Merchant. The animal lover, who is devoted towards making the world a better place for the four-legged beings, shared that he never wanted to get married as he wanted to devote his life in taking care of animals. However, he then met Radhika, who saw a similar dreams as his. Talking about the same, Anant stated:
"I am lucky (to have her) for sure. She is the person of my dreams. Since childhood, I had thought that I would never get married because I was always devoted to taking care of animals. But when I met Radhika, I saw her sharing the same values as me. She has this sense of giving and nurturing towards animals."
Further in the same interview, Anant stated that his soon-to-be-wife, Radhika, stood with him like a strong pillar when he was battling his health issues. He added that while everyone gossiping about him and hinted at being made fun of for his weight, Anant never paid any attention as his family was with him, including Radhika. He was quoted as saying:
“Beyond that, Radhika has stood like a strong pillar of support during my difficult times, as I battled with health issues. Even my parents never made me feel like I was ill. Even when doctors gave up on certain things, they never did. Additionally, Radhika gave me strength. They always told me to not give up and keep fighting, especially for someone who has battled health issues since childhood. There are many people in more pain than me, hence I am grateful to God for everything. I have never paid attention to anything anyone says. It’s their job to gossip but for me, my family and their support is of the utmost importance."
We are totally in awe of Radhika Merchant and the way she loves Jamnagar!
