Radhika Yadav's Cousin Dismisses Charges Of Restrictions At Home, 'Agar Bandishein Hoti..'

Radhika Yadav was a former state-level Tennis player who was shot by her father, Deepak Yadav, 49 point blank on July 10, 2025. The chilling incident took place at their double-storeyed residence located in Sector 57, Gurugram. Deepak has been arrested, was sent to a city court, and now at the moment is now in judicial custody. Now, the family of Radhika claimed that no restrictions were put on her and slammed the harsh charges made by Radhika's best friend, Himaanshika Singh Rajput. She alleged that Radhika stayed in a controlled environment.

Radhika Yadav's cousin claims she did not have a restrictive environment

When Radhika's post-mortem was done, reports confirmed that she was shot four times- 3 rounds from the back and one in her shoulder. A board of three doctors had conducted the same, and the police official told NDTV in a statement. Now, Himaanshika, who has claimed to be Radhika's bestie in her video, shared that Radhika's life was entirely controlled at home. Slamming the same, her cousin alleged:

"Agar bandishe hoti, toh woh ghar se nahi nikal paati, bachho ko training nahi de paati, toh ye sarasar galat aur bebuniyad baatein hain."

Himaanshika Singh Rajput claimed Radhika Yadav's parents were sensitive towards societal pressure

 Himaanshika Singh Rajput, a while back, took to her Instagram to share that she and Radhika were good friends for eight to ten years. She did allege that Radhika did feel suffocated at her house and revealed the need to explain everything to her parents. She shared that Radhika loved clicking pictures, making videos, but she had left everything due to parental pressure as they thought of what society would think of them. They were extremely orthodox. She claimed in the clip:

"My best friend Radhika was murdered by her own father. He shot her five times. Four bullets hit her. He'd made her life miserable for years with his controlling, constant criticism. In the end, he listened to so-called friends who were jealous of her success."

Himaanshika further shared that there have been several things doing the rounds in the media, but she wanted to tell everyone the truth about her friend. The sole purpose of Himaanshika making the video was to tell all who Radhika was. She shared that the deceased Tennis player was an international-level tennis player. She was very innocent and sweet, and had been playing tennis for the last 18 years.

Radhika Yadav's dad, Deepak Yadav, has asked for strict punishment

Deepak, Radhika's father, confessed to killing his daughter. After being arrested, he revealed wanting harsh punishment for doing kanya vadh and allegedly wanted capital punishment. It was revealed by a family relative. Radhika's uncle, Vijay, shared that no one in the family knew about what happened between Radhika and Deepak that pushed him to kill his daughter. It has been reported that Deepak was often taunted for living off Radhika's income. She used to run a tennis academy, which was the nerve connection between the daughter and the father. Vijay said:

"Deepak loved his daughter a lot. No one in the family knows till date as to what went wrong. When I spoke to him personally, he said he has committed 'kanya wadh' and should be punished for it. He said he should be hanged for killing his daughter."
