Raghu Ram and Rajiv Lakshman, the twin brothers, rose to immense fame with their stint on the popular show, MTV Roadies since 2001. They were also tagged as 'television's famous angry twins' due to the same. Following this, the duo starred in the film, Tees Maar Khan, in another reality television show for budding entrepreneurs, MTV Dropout Pvt Ltd, in Amazon Prime's Skulls and Roses, and many others. However, the brothers duo was also called 'bullies' and faced other stereotypical judgements from people due to their stint on Roadies.
Recently, Raghu Ram and Rajiv Lakshman appeared on Cyrus Broacha's podcast, Cyrus Says, and narrated a few incidents from their lives when they faced repercussions due to their image on Roadies. Raghu, who is especially known for his rude personality, revealed that he was labelled as a bully. However, calling her intention on the show was actually the opposite, Raghu shared:

"I have an issue with the fact that people call us bullies but what we were doing was standing up to bullies. That’s how I see it, that’s what my intention was. If I saw someone being sexist, racist or really being mean to a group of people, I would take them on. That was me standing up to a bully."

In the same conversation, Raghu shared that people used to get into fights with him post judging his tough personality on the show. Not only that, girls were apprehensive about weird fetishes and fantasies for the same. For the unversed, Raghu was earlier married to Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na actress, Sugandha Garg but the duo ended their 10 years of marriage in 2018. Afterwards, on December 12, 2018, Raghu tied the knot with Natalie, and they became proud parents to a baby boy, Rhythm on January 6, 2020. Radhu added:
"For 5-6 years, I had to have security because a group of boys would come and slap me. I have gotten into fights. I have things thrown at me. The girls I met had weird fetishes and fantasies. When they were talking to me, they were talking to the Roadies guy, and would ask me to beat them or shout at them.”

Afterwards, Rajiv too, narrated an incident when he faced brutal judgements by the people based on his attitude on the show. He revealed that when he went to his son, Noah Laxman's school as a judge on a show, students and teachers asked him to abuse others. Rajiv shared:

“I used to go to my son’s school and teachers would be like, ‘Why don’t you abuse?’ Students will be like ‘sir, gaali dena’ I was like, ‘No, I won’t'.”
