Rahul Bhatt is the son of Mahesh Bhatt and his first wife, Kiran Bhatt. Known to be a man of few words, he was once a popular name in showbiz for his stint in Bigg Boss 4. But Rahul has been away from the spotlight for the past few years. Despite being a professional fitness trainer, he had often stirred controversies due to his sensational revelations about his bond with his father, Mahesh Bhatt. It seems like Rahul is determined to follow the same path as he recently sat down for an interview and shared his straightforward views on Alia Bhatt's husband, Ranbir Kapoor.
Alia Bhatt is a prominent actress in Bollywood, and her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, is considered one of the best stars in the industry. Together, they make a successful pair admired by countless fans. But, it seems like her half-brother, Rahul Bhatt, isn't impressed by these achievements over his family values. He recently sat down for an interview with Hindi Rush and shared that he respects Ranbir as a good father to his daughter, Raha. In his words:
"Ranbir is a great father. I think that is the most important thing. A man should… I respect him as that."
However, when Rahul was asked about the actor's successful career trajectory and performance in his last film, Animal, he responded surprisingly. The fitness trainer mentioned that he doesn't understand acting and Ranbir Kapoor's family legacy. Rahul admitted that he simply respects Ranbir as a good father who cares for his step-sister, Alia Bhatt. He said:
“Acting? Pata nahi mujhe kuch samajh mein nahi aata hai… acting kaun hai, actor kaun hai, Animal kaun hai, Kapoor kaun hai? Mere ko kuch fark nahi padta. He is a good father. That’s it. He loves his daughter. He respects my step sister. Everything else is all supplementary.”
In the same interview, Rahul Bhatt shared that Ranbir Kapoor had reached out to him for taking some advice during his preparation for Animal. For those unaware, Ranbir Kapoor was last seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's blockbuster film, Animal, where his intense role impressed the audiences. Recalling the instance, he said:
"During the preparation for Animal, he had some questions. He was heading to Abu Dhabi for weapons training and asked me if it was a good place. He's very sincere and curious. I've known him since he was a kid. He went to Bombay Scottish, and I was in Arya Mandir."
On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor was last seen in Animal, co-starring Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Tripti Dimri and more. He will be next seen in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana trilogy. At the same time, the actor has Animal's sequel, Animal Park, Brahmastra: Part Two – Dev and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love And War alongside Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt in the pipeline.
