Late politician, Pramod Mahajan's son, Rahul Mahajan was earlier married to Shweta Singh, whom he had known for 13 years. They were together in the flying school in the US. The couple had parted ways in 2008. Two years later, in 2010, Rahul Mahajan had exchanged wedding vows with Dimpy Ganguly on national television after hosting a swayamvar. Rahul and Dimpy’s marital life was short-lived as she had filed a case against him for physical abuse in 2014. After his divorce from Dimpy, Rahul Mahajan had tied the knot with a Kazakhstan model, Natalya Ilina, in 2018. Rahul often shares pictures with his beautiful wife on his Instagram handle. Once in an interview, Rahul had talked about his relationship with Natalya and had said that they two don't interfere in each other's matters and give each other space. Natalya doesn't post much pictures with her husband, Rahul on her IG handle and apparently got trolled for the same.
Natalya took to her IG handle and gave it back to the trolls, who always ask her why she doesn't post pictures with her husband, Rahul Mahajan. Sharing a throwback picture from their wedding day, Natalya wrote, "Good afternoon everyone, wishing you all a happy Saturday and here is a photo from our wedding. We married in a temple with a small ceremony and a short list of closest people. At astrologically right auspicious day and time. It has been two and a half years since that day and we have a lot of love, trust and respect in our marriage."
She further added how she's tired of such questions and that not posting pictures doesn't really change anything in their married life. Her note can be further read as "I’m well aware that most of you follow me because I’m a wife of my husband, and every day I get a question: why don’t I post photos with him?! Honestly, I’m tired of such questions. Me posting or not posting anything doesn’t change a thing in our marriage." Natalya received lots of praises from her fans for her brave post. Natalya then explained that she only posts her pictures because she is pursuing a career in acting. She wrote, "and I’m showing myself to the world the way I am. My husband is a reality show man, and you know him for his personality already, so he shares more of his life. That’s it. There’s nothing more to it. If you like me and my account- thank you! But if you are following me for my husband- please unfollow! You either like me for me, or don’t like me at all. Thanks and God bless."
In a throwback interview with ETimes, Rahul had talked about his marriage with Natalya Ilina Mahajan. Revealing that his wife, Natalya had converted to Hinduism, Rahul said, “We are like two tracks of railway. We do not interfere in each other’s matters too much and give each other space. We are not even too apart from each other. But we maintain the balance so that our marriage is on the right track. She is Russian and has converted to Hindu religion and I always give her the reference of Lord Shiva and Parvati. I always tell her that husband and wife’s relationship should be like Shiv and Parvati. We keep them as our idols in our relationship. I teach her Geeta and we read a lot of mythological stuff together.
