Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar are one of the cutest couples in Tinseltown. The duo dated in secrecy for quite some time before finally tying the knot on July 16, 2021. A few years later, Rahul and Disha welcomed their first child, their baby girl, Navya on September 2023. Fast forward to now, the doting parents are living the best phase of their lives, surrounded by the cutesy antics of their daughter, And it was recently that Rahul and Disha revealed the face of Navya to the world.
In a recent interaction with ETimes, Rahul Vaidya opened up why he and his wifey, Disha Parmar decided to show their daughter, Navya’s face to the world. The doting father remarked that was an organic decision which they took as they felt it was the right time, since Navya was five months old now. In his words:
“We did not show our baby’s face at some point. Now that she is five months old, we felt that it was the right time and it all happened organically at the airport.”

Moving further in the conversation, Rahul Vaidya expressed gratefulness on the amount of love his daughter, Navya has been receiving after they revealed her face. The singer mentioned that they are happy to see how much people have been showering love on their daughter, and it appears that people know their daughter more than themselves. He mentioned:
“Ever since her pictures came out, people have been showing a lot of love towards Navya, which makes us happy. It just feels like people know her more than me and Disha. Everywhere I travel, the staff of the airport or on the flight are so sweet to her and they show much love.”
In the concluding segment of the interview, Rahul Vaidya remarked that unlike other celebrity parents who chose to keep their child’s face hidden from the world, he and his wifey, Disha are quite chilled out about the same. Rahul revealed that he understands at some point of time, people will eventually see Navya’s face. He added:
“Many parents don’t want to show their baby’s face which I can understand but every person and couple is different. Disha and I are one of those people who are very chilled out about this and we are fine with people seeing Navya and clicking pictures with her because eventually it would happen at some point. We don’t want to make a big deal about it that’s why when we showed Navya to people, we did it very organically when we were travelling together.”

Previously, Rahul Vaidya was spotted at the airport, the singer opened up about the meaning of his daughter’s name, Navya. He remarked that the name meant somebody who is worthy of being praised. He further added that he and Disha were sure to have a daughter, and so they never thought to decide on a boy’s name.
