Rajeev Sen Slams Charu For Not Replying As He Wanted To Meet Ziana In Bikaner 'She Mastered The Art'

Charu Asopa got married to Sushmita Sen's brother, Rajeev Sen, back in 2019. It was in 2023, when the couple was formally divorced. The duo's relationship ended on an ugly note, but after their separation, they mended things for the well-being of their daughter. Rajeev and Charu even often drop posts with one another, which leaves people wondering if they have gotten back together. Recently, Charu left everyone shocked as she revealed quitting acting and shifting her base back to her hometown for financial crisis, which led her to sell suits online. Now, Rajeev Sen questioned her claims and slammed her for keeping their daughter away from him.

Rajeev Sen slams Charu for not replying to him when he wanted to meet Ziana in their hometown

Rajeev Sen recently sat for an interview with the Hindustan Times, wherein he was asked about Charu's decision to shift her base back to her hometown. Rajeev mentioned that Charu mastered the art of keeping their daughter, Ziana, away from him. He also revealed feeling bad for Ziana and missing her as they met back in January. Charu, in her interview, said that Rajeev could come and meet their daughter whenever he wants to. Talking about this, Rajeev mentioned that he was out for work in Delhi and wanted to meet Ziana in Bikaner, but when he asked Charu about the same, he got no reply. Stating that he had made efforts only to get silence in return, Rajeev said:

"Charu has mastered the art of keeping my daughter away from me. But I really feel bad for Ziana because she's the one who is losing out. The last time I met Ziana was this January. I’m sure she’s missing me as much as I’m missing her. When I was in Delhi for work, I called Charu to ask if I could come to Bikaner to meet Ziana, but I got no response. Now she's telling everyone 'he is most welcome to come to Bikaner and he has all the rights to meet her.'"

In the same interview, Rajeev Sen said that ever since they have gotten divorced, he and his lawyers have closely monitored every single thing, and what baffles him the most is the way he keeps on forgiving her after everything she did, like defaming him and his family publicly. He added that he had given her a chance not for her but for Ziana also, but they know that her anger comes from past trauma, and sadly, he is the one paying the price for it. Rajeev stated:

"My lawyers and I have been closely monitoring everything since the divorce. What baffles me is that even after everything she’s said and done—like publicly defaming me—my family and I still chose to forgive her. We gave her another chance, not just for Ziana, but for her too. We understand her anger comes from past trauma, but sadly, I’m the one paying the price for it."

Rajeev Sen says he wants Charu Asopa to be mentally and emotionally stable

Going forward in the interview, Rajeev Sen shared that they are all concerned about Ziana, and want Charu to be emotionally and mentally stable. He further added how Charu remains happy on the trips with him, but suddenly, it flips. Rajeev stated that he doesn't really care if Charu thinks him to be a bad father and human being, his own people know him, and that's what matters to him. Rajeev said that he feels like Charu is tarnishing her own image despite having so much in her life.

Rajeev Sen asked Charu Asopa to come back and give their daughter a second chance

In the concluding segment of the interview, Rajeev said that even in the last month, he has asked Charu to come back home and give their daughter a chance. He stated that it didn't mean that they need to get married again or something, but she could have a home and a space. In Rajeev Sen's words:

"Even last month, I told her—come home, give our child a chance. Not that we need to get married again, but at least she’ll have her own house, her own space. But I don’t know what’s going on in her mind. Maybe too many people are influencing her, but at some point, she has to take responsibility and think long term about what’s truly best for her and for Ziana."
