Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa’s personal life has sadly been a part of the public’s dirty laundry for quite some time now. The duo have openly levied accusations and arguments against one another on the grounds of their failing marriage. However, it was finally on June 8, 2023, when Rajeev announced his divorce from Charu. For the unversed, the ex-couple has a daughter, Zianna, whom they intend to co-parent mutually.
Taking to his IG stories a few moments back, Rajeev Sen dropped an adorable video that features his darling daughter, Zianna, who looked cute in a pink-hued frock and had her hair tied in two cute pigtails. She was spotted having a gala time playing with the mirrors in her daddy’s vanity, and thereafter, she tried to play hide-and-seek with him. At the end of the video, the daddy-daughter duo came together for a heart-melting moment when Rajeev picked Zianna in his arms and posed for an adorable mirror selfie.

After months of allegations, heated exchange of words and bitter tears, it was on June 8, 2023, when the estranged couple, Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa, finally got divorced. The news was shared by Rajeev himself when he took to his IG stories and dropped an old picture of himself and Charu, where the duo embraced one another in a happy moment. However, the short note that he penned along with the picture cleared up everything about their divorce being finalised. Rajeev had written:
“There are no good byes! Just two people who just couldn’t hold on to each other. Love will stay. We will always remain mom and dad to our daughter.”
Despite having touched an irreconcilable rocky patch in their marital life, Rajeev and Charu have always ensured that their daughter does not become a victim. They have prioritised that their daughter grows in a healthy atmosphere where she always has her parents to look up to. Speaking about the same, in an interview with Times TV, Rajeev revealed his take on co-parenting their daughter with his estranged wife, Charu and mentioned:
“Ziana will always be my priority. Sometimes you have to look at the bigger picture. It is never about any individual and it is about the child. For me as a father it is very important to give her that kind of security and to make sure that her upbringing is done in the right way."

On the flip side of the coin, Charu Asopa has been single-handedly raising her daughter, Zianna, post her separation from her husband, Rajeev Sen. Charu has moved out of the home she shared with Rajeev and has bought a new place for herself and her daughter. Being an extremely protective mother, Charu ensures that no harm ever reaches Zianna, and proof of the same was found when she hit back at trolls who criticised her daughter for looking old. To this, Charu slammed them shut and befittingly responded how these are all untrue and that Zianna’s looks are so since she has inherited them through her genes.
