The couple shared how respect and equality don't only play a role in vital topics but also extend into their everyday tasks, including cooking, doing laundry and washing dishes.

Patralekhaa, during the event, revealed how Rajkummar was impeccably organised and knows where the smallest of the things were kept. She added that Rajkummar would always assist her in tasks at home. She revealed how these small acts in a partnership play a pivotal role in bringing the couple closer and stated:

"He’s so impeccably organised; he even knows where the smallest things are kept! I love cooking, and Rajkummar always has my back by taking care of the dishes. These small acts of partnership bring us closer and reflect the equality we believe in."

Rajkummar Rao, in the same conversation, also expressed how equality starts with simple actions. He revealed that when his wife, Patralekhaa, cooks for them, he loves to do the dishes or chores while she is away. "In our relationship, we believe that equality starts with simple actions. I love doing the dishes when Patralekhaa has done the cooking, or handling chores when she’s away - it’s about making life easier for each other. For us, it's not about keeping score but about being there for one another”.

At the same event, Patralekhaa disclosed that very early on in their relationship, they decided on a few things. She revealed that they mutually agreed that their relationship would be free from any hierarchy in their relationship. She added that they rather focused on mutual respect and equality.

Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa dated each other for over a decade before getting married. The couple tied the knot on November 15, 2021. Rajkummar broke the societal norms when he asked Patralkehaa to apply sindoor to him as well during the wedding. Rajkummar had the cutest way of announcing their union. He took to Instagram and shared pictures from their big day with the caption:
