Bollywood actor, Rajkummar Rao is known for getting fit into any type of character he plays in a movie and over the years, he has given one after the other box-office hit films. He is loved by millions of fans for not only his acting, but also for his humble attitude. In personal life, Rajkummar is completely dedicated to his family and glimpses of the same are found on his social media handles.
For the unversed, Rajkummar Rao had tied the knot with the love of his life, Patralekhaa Paul on November 15, 2021. Their intimate wedding in Chandigarh was indeed a dreamy one. And on March 8, 2022, Rajkummar had taken to his IG handle and shared a priceless moment from his wedding with Patralekhaa, while remembering his mother. For the unversed, his mother had left for the heavenly abode 6 years ago, and the proud son misses her every single day. Sharing his late mother's photo on International Women's Day, he had penned:
"It’s been 6 years Maa, since you left us but I know you are always there with me. I’ll always keep you in my heart and I know you’re always there to guide me, protect me, love me and bless me. I’m a very proud son and I’ll always try and make you a proud Mother. You will always be my Hero. I love you Maa."

In an interview with Mashable India, Rajkummar Rao revealed how he got to know about his mother's demise, which was one of the most heartbreaking experiences for him. He mentioned that during that time, he was shooting for his 2017 released film, Newton. After he shot one scene, he saw one of the crew members running towards him, which made him a little bit confused. However, the boy told him that his wife, Patralekhaa wanted to talk to him and that is how he had got to know about the same. Sharing his painful experience, he said:
“I remember I gave a shot and was exiting from the sets. I saw a boy running to me and I was like why is he entering while the shot is still on. The boy said, ‘Patralekhaa mam wants to talk to you’ and that’s how I got to know. The flight journey was difficult and to come back all alone on set (Gurgaon) . As I had to go back again, the very next day to continue shooting. I thought I was strong enough but I often lost control over my emotions....but me being an actor she was the happiest.”
Earlier, Rajkummar Rao had attended India Today Conclave East 2022's session, The Rule Breakers: Content, Craft and Box Office Success. During the event, the actor had opened up about his married life with his wife, Patralekhaa and shared how he has a normal routine. Rajkummar was also asked if he shares responsibilities with his wife, Patralekhaa. To this, the actor revealed that he helps his wife in doing the household chores. Revealing that he has OCD, he had added:
"At home, I have a very normal routine. I portray real characters on screen, so it's important for me to be real at home also. We both do ghar ka kaam, but I have OCD so I want things to be organised and clean. Even if she says ho jayega, I have to drop everything and clean."

Further in the conversation, Rajkummar talked about his favourite household chore and shared how he used to help his mom during his childhood days. He revealed that he loves doing the dishes and sweeping the floor. Talking about the same, he had added:
"Mujhe bartan dhona bahut pasand hai, I used to do it with my mom as a kid. Mujhe aisa lagta tha ki mummy akele kaam karegi to mai kaam karwa deta tha. And mujhe jharu lagana bhi achha lagta hai."
On the work front, Rajkummar Rao will be next seen in the Telegu remake film, Hit: The First Case.
