Actor-comedian, Raju Srivastava rose to fame after his stint on the stand-up comedy show, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge season 1, in 2005. Well-known for his comic timings, Raju received immense love from the audience, and his contribution to comedy was commendable. When his fellow comedians were struggling to make a living for themselves, Raju Srivastava lived his life to the fullest.
However, Raju Srivastava passed away due to a cardiac arrest, and left for his heavenly abode on September 21, 2022. He was admitted to AIIMS Delhi after he had got his first cardiac arrest in August 2022, and since then, he had been battling for his life. The actor underwent an angioplasty and was kept on a ventilator. His demise came as a shock to the country, and his family was left heartbroken.

Raju Srivastava is survived by his wife, Shikha Srivastava and their two children, Ramesh Chandra Srivastava and Saraswati Srivastava. His family was standing strong ever since he was admitted to hospital, and they were waiting to bring him back safe and sound with them. However, all their hopes were shattered when they lost the earning member of their family, Raju Srivastava. If reports are to be believed, then the late comedian left assets worth Rs. 20 crores for his family.
According to multiple media reports, Raju Srivastava has a lavish house in Mumbai, which is priced around Rs. 7-7.5 crores. Moreover, being a car lover, he has a luxurious fleet of cars parked in his garage. The most expensive ones in his collection included an Audi worth Rs. 85 lakhs and a BMW worth Rs. 47 lakhs. However, the late comedian used to go around and about the city in his Innova.

Earlier in an interview with ETimes, Raju Srivastava's wife, Shikha Srivastava, had opened up about her husband's demise. The actor-comedian's wife, who was inconsolable after her loss, mustered up the little courage that she had and shared that Raju fought very hard. Revealing that she was hoping to see him alive, the loving wife had said:
"I am not able to talk right now. What can I share or say now? He fought very hard, I was really hoping and praying to see him come out of this. But, that has not happened. All I can say is that he was a true fighter."
We pray that God provide strength to Raju's family to overcome their loss.
