The iconic comedian and actor, Raju Srivastava passed away at the age of 58 on August 10, 2022. The comedian's sudden demise left everyone in immense shock, and even to this day, people are still finding it hard to digest the fact that he is no longer with us. Apart from entertaining fans with his incredible comic timing, Raju had also worked in many famous movies, including Maine Pyar Kiya, Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya, Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon and many more. The actor had passed away due to cardiac arrest in Delhi's famous hospital, AIIMS.
Now, a recent video from iconic comedian, late Raju Srivastava's prayer meeting made everyone emotional after his wife remembered him and said, 'meri toh zindagi chali gayi'. A few moments ago, a video from the late comedian, Raju Srivastava's prayer meeting made its way on social media, and it is spreading like wildfire all over the internet. In the video, we can see Raju Srivastava's close friends and industry mates clad in white clothes, remembering him with wet eyes. However, what broke everyone's hearts was when Raju's wife, Shikha Srivastava broke down in tears after she was asked to say a few words about her husband. The doting wife admitted that there was nothing left to say after her husband's death. Thanking everyone for their support, Shikha said:
"Kya bolu. Kuch bolne ko ab raha he nahi. Meri toh zindagi chali gayi. Sab logo ne bahut prathnaye ki, doctors ne bhi bahut koshish ki. Hum sab ne bahut koshish ki. Lekin. Unhone hum sabko bahut hasaya. Upar jaakar bhi sabko hasa rahe honge. Khush rahe, shanti se rahe. Bahut bahut dhanyawad."
As per the latest reports from Raju Srivastava's prayer meeting, it is reported that iconic actor and comedian, Johnny Lever was also there. In a conversation with the media stationed outside the comedian's house, Johnny shared his thoughts about the sudden demise of his dear friend, Raju Srivastava. Opening up about his bond with Raju Srivastava, the actor recalled their struggling days in the entertainment industry. Johnny had also shared that they were also neighbours for a very long time. Calling him an outstanding actor, Johnny Lever said:
"Raju ke sangarsh ke dino ki shuruwaat mere saath hui thi. Hamare parivarik sambandh the, aur hum padosi bhi the. Toh aap andaza laga sakte hain ki main kitne dukh mein hu. Humne ek mahaan kalakaar ko khoo diya. Unhone logo ko kayi saalo tak hasaya."

Soon after Raju Srivastava's demise, in an interview with ETimes, the late comedian's wife, Shikha Srivastava opened up about the emotions she was going through at that time. The doting wife also shared that her husband fought well but in the end, what had happened was destiny. However, Shikha clearly admired the fighting spirit of her husband and titled him a 'true fighter'. She had said:
"I am not able to talk right now. What can I share or say now? He fought very hard, I was really hoping and praying to see him come out of this. But, that has not happened. All I can say is that he was a true fighter."
The ace comedian, Raju Srivastava will always be in our memories, and we hope God gives strength to his entire family in this tragic time.
