In 2021, Raju Talikote, along with his two wives, both named Prema, appeared on the Kannada couple reality show, Raja Rani. During one of the show's episodes, Raju revealed that he had one wish to gift diamond nose pins to his two wives. For those who don't know, a nose pin is not just an accessory, but an ornament to honour marital life. 

Raju revealed on the show that he would save money for the diamond nose pins for his two wives, but the money would be used for the payment to the artist from his theatre troop. However, his wish came true on the reality show as he gifted similar diamond nose pins to both his wives.

Raju Talikote had a unique family life. His marital life involved two wives, and they all lived happily with their children. Raju was married to Prema Talikote, and they were blessed with three children — two sons, Bharthraj and Dhaval, and one daughter, Heena.

Despite living a happy life with his first wife, Raju Talikote went on to get married for the second time to Prema Sindhanur. The most unique thing about his two wives was that they both shared the same name. With his second wife, Raju welcomed two daughters named Shajida and Shabbu. Both wives of the Kannada star shared an amicable relationship. Raju Talikote was married to his two wives for more than 25 years. 

Raju Talikote once talked about his relationship with his two wives and stated that he is still together with both of his wives as they are his strength. He added that he gave his life to theatre while his wives were the backbone of his work. He was once quoted as saying:

"I loved both of them and got married. I have children and grandchildren. We are still together. My wives are not just people, they are my strength. I was dedicated to theater. They were the backbone of all my work."

It is also worth mentioning that Raju Talikote shared unique family dynamics that differed from the usual family standards. He had two wives, five children, and despite it, the family remained close-knit. Not only this, they even participated in theatre plays together. One of his sons revealed that Raju's play, Kaliyugada Kuduka, brought immense fame to his father.
