During a recent interview with Radio Nasha, Rakesh shared how SRK and Salman used to trouble him at night by firing outside his hotel premises. The stars who were back young then were young adults and were known for their pranks. Rakesh shared that he would sometimes get angry but control himself as they would say whatever. Sometimes, they would go out of line while making fun, and he would think that he should not be like them. Rakesh used to behave like a father figure, making them understand. He remembered how they would shoot guns outside his hotel room. He said:

"They would be outside my room shooting guns. I would be sleeping at night and I would hear guns going off, bottles flying. When I would ask them ‘What are you doing?’ They would say ‘Aapko disturb kar rahe hain."

SRK was recently seen in the docu-drama series, The Roshans and remembered how Salman used to trouble Rakesh on the sets of Karan Arjun. He had shared that it was like two young children who were troubling their dad. The megastar also said that he was sorry for Rakesh for his naughty behaviour. SRK had said:

"Pinkie ji scolded me a lot. ‘You are troubling Guddu (Rakesh) a lot. I didn’t expect it from you.’ Because, between Salman and me, I was slightly better behaved; at least on the face of it. I was like, ‘I didn’t do anything. It’s all his (Salman) doing.’ We were two young kids, really troubling a father figure, to be honest.”
