Rakhi Sawant Breaks Down While Talking About Her Traumatic Childhood, 'Mujhe Raat Raat Bhar Kahi...'

Rakhi Sawant, a name that hardly needs any introduction, is one of the most entertaining personalities in the showbiz. Over the years, Rakhi has made a name for herself, carving her own path without any Godfathers. Rakhi’s life was never a bed of roses, and she worked really hard not just for herself but for her poverty-stricken family too. In her latest interview with Humans of Bombay, Rakhi spoke about her traumatic childhood.

Rakhi Sawant opened up about her traumatic childhood and struggles

Rakhi Sawant recently sat for an interview for Humans of Bombay’s show, Spill the Tea, and spoke about her childhood. The actress called it torturous and shared that she hates her childhood. Revealing the reason, Rakhi said she did all the odd jobs to finance her family. Speaking about the same, Rakhi revealed:

“Ab mere maa baap nahi rahe, mere bhai behen, meri family poori dur ho gayi hai mujhse. Sabko dur kar diya. An mujhe raat raat bhar kahi naachna nahi padega, mujhe paise paan eke liye kisi ke neeche jhukna nahi padega. Maa ke hospitalon ke bill bharne ke liye bheek nahi maangni padegi.”

Rakhi Sawant compares herself to an ATM card

In the same interaction, Rakhi stated that she has been a scapegoat in her family as she worked hard for every member of her family. Be it her mother’s treatment or her siblings’ education and marriage, it was always upon her to manage the finances. Comparing herself to an ATM card, she said:

“Kabhi Kabhi to aesa lagta hai ki Rakhi Sawant ka doosra naam ATM card hai. Bachpan se waisi life jee hain a, ab mai jeeti jaagti machine ho gayi hoon. Pehle pariwar ne mujhe ATM samjha, phir jisse shaadi kari, usne mujhe ATM samjha.”

Rakhi Sawant’s controversial marriages

Rakhi Sawant has faced many turbulent moments in her personal life and has garnered significant attention for them. She was earlier married to Ritesh; however, they had parted ways after things didn’t work out between them. Soon, the heartbroken actress found love in the arms of a Mysore-based businessman, Adil Khan Durrani, and the two tied the knot in 2022.

In January 2023, Rakhi left everyone in utter shock as she announced her separation from her husband. The actress made some shocking claims against her estranged husband, including domestic violence, extramarital affairs, and more. However, Adil was in jail for a few months, and after returning, he dismissed Rakhi's claims. Soon, Rakhi shifted to Dubai, fearing arrest in India due to Adil Khan Durrani's filing serious allegations against her.
