Rakhi Sawant recently attended an award show and made sure to look sultry. She walked down the red carpet wearing a cut-out strappy tangerine dress and kept her look bold with smokey eyes and red lips. However, what caught everyone's attention was when she introduced her new boyfriend, Adil to the media. She talked about him fondly and revealed whether she would go to Lock Upp, the reality show with him. Later, Rakhi even video called him.
In the video, Rakhi talked about Adil. She revealed how the two of them meet at the worst phase of her life and how he had proposed to her with a BMW car. Talking about the same, the actress mentioned every girl must get proposed to in the same way. She said:
"Adil is from Mysore. After separating with Ritesh. I was depressed. God ko mujh par itna pyaar aaya. Adil met me. He proposed to me. BMW car he only gifted me with Shelly. Har ladki ka proposal aise hi ho with a car. Koi chala jaaye toh kyun depress rehna? Adil is so charming, so faithful and so amazing."

On February 13, 2022, Rakhi Sawant had shared a long picture note on her Instagram handle as she had announced her separation from her husband, Ritesh. Expressing her grief and how devastated she felt, Rakhi had penned a long note and had written that she had made the right decision. The note could be read as:
"Dear fans and well-wishers just wanted to say that Ritesh and I have decided to part ways. After the Bigg Boss show, a lot has happened and I was unaware of certain things which were out of my control. We have tried to work out our differences and tried to make things work but I think it is best we both move on amicably and we both enjoy our lives separately."
