For the unversed, Rakhi announced her marriage to her boyfriend, Adil Khan Durrani in January 2023. But unfortunately, the relationship didn't go well for the actress, and the duo parted ways on a bitter note.
For the uninformed, Rakhi accused her ex-husband, Adil, of cheating, mental and physical harassment, and more. And the latter is presently in jail. However, after going through a tough phase and various turbulences in her married life, the actress has found someone and has opened up about the same. In a recent interaction with ETimes, Rakhi shared that she has met a good guy but is not prepared as she is scared after everything she has gone through in her first marriage. Elaborating on the same, Rakhi shared:
"I have met someone who is very good but I am not prepared and very scared as you know what happened to my first marriage."

On June 13, 2023, Rakhi Sawant was papped outside a gym in Mumbai as she returned from Dubai on June 12, 2023. For the unversed, Rakhi runs a dance academy in Dubai. However, after getting spotted outside the gym, the actress revealed that running dance studios in Mumbai and Dubai is difficult. She also shared that it is hard for her to juggle clubs in both cities, and she needs a jeevansathi to help her. She mentioned:
"Akeli ladki mein kya kya sambhalun, you know. Koi Jeevansathi chahiye. I don't know."
Further, in her interaction with paps, Rakhi shared that she wants to be happy again. Talking about the same, Rakhi revealed she was in depression after her separation from her ex-husband, Adil, and for the same reason, she flew to Dubai. Rakhi added:
"I am waiting. Meri zindagi mein phir se aur khushiyan aaye. Bohot ro liya zindagi mein. Actually mein depression mein thi toh Dubai bhaag gayi thi. Ab wahan se bohot saara marham leke aayi hun."

When the paps questioned her about her special person from Dubai, with whom the actress is in love, Rakhi said:
"Aayega aaram se. Marham ke bagair aap kaise jeeyenge. There are so many people who hurt you. There are those who put salt on your wounds at every step but there are only a few who put an ointment on it. You should keep those people close."
Regarding her divorce, Rakhi Sawant shared that she is not divorced yet, but it is important for her to get a divorce from Adil. The actress then shared that Adil is currently in jail and has requested Rakhi many times to set him free, but Rakhi doesn't want to. Sharing the details about the same, Rakhi stated:
"Mera divorce hona baaki hai. Dekhiye, station salamat hai toh train toh aati jaati rahegi. (Keep quiet for now, my divorce is still pending, if there's a station, trains will come and go). Ups and downs are part of life. Adil is still in jail. He called me many times in Dubai, asking me to set him free but I told him its not my case. I can't. I don't know but I want him to get bail so I get a divorce from him. He has been divorced twice before. Lekin talaq yeh wala zaruri hai."
