The actress is again in the headlines, and this time for her relationship status. To everyone's surprise, Rakhi is no longer with her ex-husband, Ritesh and is now in a relationship with a Mysore-based business, Adil Khan Durrani. Indeed, things got escalated pretty well, but the actress is once again smiling in her life.
The actress is on cloud nine as she finally found her soulmate in her new boyfriend, Adil Khan Durrani. Now, in a recent interview with a leading news portal, the queen of controversies, Rakhi Sawant opened up about her boyfriend, Adil Khan Durrani and shared everything about their love story and future plans.

In a heart-to-heart conversation with ETimes, Rakhi Sawant opened up about her new boyfriend, Adil Khan Durrani's entry into her life. Opening up about it, Rakhi stated that after her heartbreaking divorce from her ex-husband, Ritesh, she had gone into depression and had suffered a lot, and that's when Adil had entered into her life. Reflecting on how things had clicked instantly between them, Rakhi had stated that within a month of their first meeting, Adil had proposed to Rakhi, and the latter had accepted it. However, Rakhi had admitted that initially, she was a bit sceptical of the fact that Adil is six years younger than her, but the latter had convinced her by citing the example of Nick Jonas-Priyanka Chopra and many others. In her words:
"I think he has been sent to me by God. After my breakup with Ritesh, I had gone into a depression. Kuch acha nahi lag raha tha. Adil entered my life and proposed to me within a month of our first meeting. I am six years older to him, Frankly, I was not ready but he explained to me, citing examples of Malaika Arora-Arjun Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas. He says he loves me very much. I have fallen in love with him."
Going further in the interview, Rakhi Sawant shared details about her boyfriend, Adil Khan Durrani's background and shared that he's a Mysore-based businessman, who often comes to Mumbai just to meet her. Rakhi also added that she had also visited Mysore to see him, and when she did, Adil had gifted her a BMW. The actress also shared that it was Adil's sister, Shailey, who is her business partner in many shows and also the Cupid in their relationship. Not only this, Rakhi also added that it was Shailey, who had introduced her to Adil. She explained:
"Adil is from Mysore, he comes to Mumbai to meet me. He is a businessman. He gifted me a BMW in Mysore. He called me there and I went. Adil is Shailey's brother. Shailey is a friend and a business partner in shows. Shailey introduced Adil and I, and he took my number from Shailey. That's how we got talking. I am in a very confused state."

In the same interview, Rakhi Sawant also talked about the problem that she and her boyfriend, Adil Khan Durrani, are facing. The actress shared that Adil's family is entirely against their relationship because of their glamorous profession. However, Rakhi admitted that she is willing to change to be with her boyfriend, Adil and his family. She said:
"I am a very glamorous person in the movies and TV industry, Adil's family is against this relationship, bawaal ho gaya hai uske ghar mein. His family does not like the way I dress up. But I am willing to change myself if the need be. Nobody from his side is forcing me to change, though. He is being tortured from all sides. I am scared; mushkil se pyar mila hai. I hope his khandaan accepts me."

At the end of the interview, Rakhi Sawant also addressed the much confusion going on in the media about her past relationship with her ex-husband, Ritesh. Answering this, the actress rubbished all the talks of getting married to Ritesh and cleared everything in detail. Moreover, Rakhi shared that her marriage with Ritesh wasn't legal at all. Reflecting on it, she explained:
"Woh shaadi legal nahin thi; Ritesh never divorced his wife. According to Indian law, I am not his wife. Plus, Ritesh and I never got even physical. Post' Bigg Boss', his wife levied some cases against him."
