Popular actress and model, Rakhi Sawant always hits the headlines for her unfiltered statements and controversial personal life. Recently, she had parted ways from her ex-husband, Ritesh. And time and again, she had shared that it was a painful separation for her. However, she gave love a second chance in her life and is dating a Mysore-based businessman, Adil Khan Durrani. From gifting the actress a BMW car to proposing to her with a huge diamond ring, Rakhi's new boyfriend indeed knows how to treat her like a queen.
Once again, Rakhi Sawant made it to the headlines because of her alleged clash with her ex-husband, Ritesh. On June 11, 2022, Rakhi along with her present boyfriend, Adil Khan Durrani were spotted outside the Oshiwara police station. Before entering the police station, she had spoken to the paparazzi stationed outside the police station. In some of the videos, which had made their way to the internet, we had learnt that she had lodged a cyber crime complaint against Ritesh after her Instagram account was hacked. Rakhi was seen shedding tears as she had also shown her phone to the paps.

Now, in an interview with the ETimes, Rakhi Sawant opened up about her clash with her ex-husband, Ritesh. She was asked about the car that Ritesh had gifted to her as she didn't had one when the duo's relationship had begun. To this, Rakhi mentioned that though it's indeed true that she didn't have a car initially, however, she had returned Ritesh's gift after he had asked her for the same. She also revealed that the jewellery Ritesh had given to her was all fake, and when she had asked him about it, Ritesh had disrespected her by saying that she was 'uneducated' and 'deserved this'. Then, mentioning the physical abuse she had gone through, Rakhi said:
"That's true. But I have returned his car; he asked for it back. I don't need his Baleno. Ghan**! He is lying. And let me tell you the jewelry he gave me is fake. I went to a jeweler to sell it off when I needed money for my mother's on-going treatment. I was laughed at. I was told that it is not real gold. Woh zevar mere paas abhi tak hain. Chandi ke zevar par sone ka paani lagaya gaya hai. I texted him about the fake jewellery. I told him 'Sharam nahin aati?' He replied. He said, 'You deserve that'. Usne mujhe char baar room mein se dhakke maar kar nikala hai. He used to call me uneducated."
In the same conversation, Rakhi mentioned that Ritesh had already returned her accounts, and thus, she would take back her complaint for the sake of her true love towards Ritesh. However, she also added that she had changed the passwords. Mentioning that Ritesh was already a married man, who hadn't divorced his first wife before marrying her, Rakhi said that this had wronged her genuine love for him. She also revealed that even after being financially stable, during Rakhi's tough time when her mother was admitted in the hospital, Ritesh hadn't helped her. Finally, it was Bollywood actor, Salman Khan who had come forward. Sharing the same, she explained:
"As far as hacking into my social media accounts goes, he has returned my accounts to me today. I have changed the passwords. And so, I shall take back the police complaint I lodged against him yesterday. Jo sacha pyar karte hain, woh cases nahi karte. Main bhi nahin karungi. Mera pyar Ritesh ke liye sacha tha. Meri shaadi bhi uske saath sachi thi. It was he who wronged me by not telling me before marriage that he was already a married man who hadn't divorced his first wife yet. Let me also tell you that he got my mom admitted in the hospital but after that, he did not help me financially. Ritesh has lots of money but it was Salman Khan who helped me."

Further, Rakhi was asked about Ritesh's two wives, i.e. Rakhi and Snigdha, who are both living with some other man currently. To this, Rakhi mentioned that Ritesh used to abuse and hit women. And that every time, she used to hold his feet and plea him to stay even after so much of thrashing. And now that Ritesh is claiming all of her things to be his. Rakhi revealed:
"Then the fault must be lying in him na? He must be abusing and hitting women. He used to throw food and often keep saying that he was leaving. He used to abuse me. I used to keep holding his feet and pleading him to stay. Ghar mera, saaman mera. Haan, he gifted me a sofa. Ab woh keh raha hai woh uska saaman hai."
Concluding the interview, Rakhi mentioned that she is ready to face her ex-husband, Ritesh if he takes any legal action. Revealing that Ritesh never used to help her in bearing house expenses, Rakhi concluded:
"Let him take all the legal action. I am ready to face him. He never wanted me to go ahead in life; he held my progress back. He always said 'I am not your slave or servant. Apna kaam khud karo, apna khud kamao.' Toh mujhe shaadi karke kya mila? Managing the house and even paying our servant was on me. So I had to tell him that he can't stay with me; he needs to get his own apartment."
For the unversed, Rakhi Sawant and her present boyfriend, Adil Khan Durrani, who is six years younger to her, are living together in Mumbai.
