Rakhi Sawant Takes A Dig At Aishwarya Rai, Mocks Her Moves In 'Kajra Re', 'Mai Miss World Nahi...'

Rakhi, who never got the opportunity to be a mainstream actress, once questioned why she was targeted when she did item songs. In 2005, Rakhi Sawant appeared on Pooja Bedi’s popular talk show, Just Pooja, where she discussed being targeted for performing item songs. The controversial queen stated that, despite not being a Miss World or Miss Universe, she often gets targeted.

Rakhi Sawant mocks Aishwarya Rai’s moves in ‘Kajra Re’

In the same segment, Rakhi quoted Aishwarya Rai’s item song, Kajra Re, and made an expression with her face that Aishwarya made in that song. Rakhi then went on to compare Aishwarya’s song with her item number and said, ‘kya bura hai’. Listening to Rakhi, Pooja intervened and said, It's not the expression but the attire and the steps, which were tagged as vulgar. To this, Rakhi said:

“It’s not my problem, it’s the choreographer.”

When Rakhi Sawant copied Aishwarya Rai and donned purple lipstick

In 2017, Rakhi Sawant posted pictures from her trip to Dubai on her social media handle, and what caught people’s attention was her striking purple lipstick. Yes, the actress flaunted the same lip shade that Aishwarya Rai wore during her 2017 appearance at the Cannes Film Festival.

Rakhi Sawant’s controversial marriages

Rakhi Sawant has faced many turbulent moments in her personal life and has garnered a lot of attention for the same. She was earlier married to Ritesh; however, they had parted ways after things didn’t work out between them. Soon, the heartbroken actress found love in the arms of a Mysore-based businessman, Adil Khan Durrani, and the two tied the knot in 2022.

In January 2023, Rakhi left everyone in utter shock as she announced her separation from her husband. The actress made some shocking claims against her estranged husband, including domestic violence, extramarital affairs, and more. However, Adil was in jail for a few months, and after returning, he dismissed Rakhi's claims. Soon, Rakhi shifted to Dubai, fearing arrest in India due to Adil Khan Durrani filing serious allegations against her.

On the professional front, Rakhi Sawant has worked in various film industries throughout her career, spanning nearly two decades. From Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Telugu to Tamil films, Rakhi Sawant has proved the mettle of her craft in different languages, which is indeed quite inspirational.
