The popular Bollywood couple, Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani, are all set to take their relationship to the next phase. The duo is reportedly getting married on February 21, 2024, in an intimate beachside wedding in Goa. For the unversed, Rakul and Jackky grew closer during the lockdown and eventually fell in love. The two publicly announced their romance in 2021. Cut to now, the duo’s pre-wedding festivities have already begun.
On February 17, 2024, a paparazzi page shared a video, which showcased that the luggage of the entire Singh clan was being loaded inside a car. Each of the huge suitcases was labelled with the name of the person it belonged to. One of the trolley bags was tagged as ‘Rakul Mom’. The family is all set to begin the joyous occasion of their beloved, Rakul’s wedding.

The soon bride-to-be, Rakul Preet Singh, was spotted at the Mumbai airport with her family as they left for Goa for the upcoming wedding. Rakul was glowing in an orange-hued pantsuit paired with a pink top. She accentuated her airport look with a sleek ponytail and subtle makeup.

Just a few minutes after the bride-to-be arrived at the airport, Jackky was also spotted. He wore a casual printed shirt paired with black pants. The groom-to-be looked extremely happy as he struck a few poses for the paparazzi.

On February 16, 2024, Rakul Preet took to her official Instagram account to upload a few glimpses of her look from the first event of her pre-wedding festivities. The Bollywood actress looked happy and drop-dead gorgeous in a sharara set from the shelves of Seema Gujral. Rakul wore a green-hued georgette sharara set featuring mirror work, which was paired with a peplum top and a scalloped dupatta. Upon researching, we found out that the dress was priced at Rs 1,28,000. The actress accentuated her look by adding kundan jewellery, which comprised a statement choker, studs and bracelet. She kept her luscious hair open and opted for nude makeup. She captioned her post as:
“Mai koi aisa geet gaun?”
Rakul’s groom-to-be, Jackky also jumped on the bandwagon and uploaded his look from their Dhol night. The actor-turned-producer took to his official Instagram account and dropped pictures in which he looked dapper in a black-coloured embellished kurta from the collection of S&N by Shantanu Nikhil. Jackky paired his kurta with matching pants and shoes. He captioned the post as:
“Best things are about to happen.”

A few days before their big day, Rakul and Jackky's wedding invitation went viral on the media. The invitation card, which was both minimal and aesthetically pleasing, was loved by everyone. The card was designed in pastel shades of blue and pink and had caricatures of a mandap and a sofa placed on a seashore. Their personalized hashtag, 'Ab Dono Bhagna-Ni,' was also mentioned on the card. It's noteworthy that the couple chose an eco-friendly wedding.
Rakul and Jackky have reportedly pledged not to burst firecrackers during their 3-4 day-long wedding soiree. Moreover, the couple will also plant trees equivalent to the total carbon footprint of their entire wedding celebrations. They have opted not to send any physical invitations to their guests. As per a report by Hindustan Times, a source has revealed:
“No physical invites have been sent by the couple and their family. Also, no crackers will be burst at any point. These people will measure the carbon footprint generated during this couple’s wedding ceremonies. They will then tell them how many trees are needed to be planted, in accordance with the footprint. It’s a unique step taken, definitely. The couple will themselves plant it, either immediately after the marriage ceremony or the following day.”
