Rakul Preet Singh is one of the much-loved actresses in Bollywood. The actress debuted in Bollywood with the movie, Yaariyan, and apart from that, she went on to prove her acting mettle in several movies such as Aiyaary, De De Pyaar De, Runway 34, and more. In her personal life, Rakul is married to Jacky Bhagnani. Soon after Rakul and Jacky's wedding, the media was rife with reports about the latter's father, Vashu Bhagnani, owing to Pooja Entertainment's legal issues, including non-payments and a tiff with OTT giant, Netflix. Well, now, Rakul has reacted when she was asked about the same.
Rakul Preet Singh recently graced IIFA Utsavam 2024. For the day, she was decked up in a neon-green-toned dress, which featured a V-neckline and silver sequins on the shoulder portions. The actress opted for a glam touch of makeup including smokey eyes, defined eyebrows, and dark-toned lipstick. A pair of classy earrings and a ponytail added stars to her look.

In a video that made rounds on social media, Rakul Preet Singh was seen giving an interview with the media. She talked about her upcoming projects and their developments. Well, a reporter started to ask her about her father-in-law, Vashu Bhagnani. The reporter, mentioned, "There are reports coming in the media about Vashu sir and a lot of people have said…” Well, Rakul understood the question, apologised, and instantly stormed off the place.

Jacky Bhagnani and Rakul Preet Singh got married on February 21, 2024. And ahead of the actress' griha prabesh in her sasural, Jacky's father, Vashu was spotted at the airport. When he was asked about Jacky and Rakul's union, he complimented his daughter-in-law and said that they are taking home a 'Lakshmi'.
For the unversed, reports are rife that OTT giant, Netflix owes over Rs. 47 crore from Vashu Bhagnani of Pooja Entertainment. The news came soon after Vashu and Jacky filed a complaint against Ali Abbas Zafar, the director of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, due to the latter's allegation of not getting his dues of Rs. 7 crore from the producer.

Talking about the legal tussle with Netflix, Vashu Bhagnani told the IANS that he believed in doing what felt right to him and he also worked really hard to keep aligned with his commitments. The producer further added that he hopes the truth will come out soon, and he and his team have always been dedicated to make films. He concluded by saying that his authorities would serve justice in the same matter. In Vashu's words:
"I have always believed in doing what's right, and have worked hard to keep my commitments. I trust that the truth will come out and hope for a fair resolution. For decades, we have been dedicated to making films with passion, and I stand by that commitment. I am positive the authorities will help clarify, resolve and bring justice in this matter."
