In a recent interview with a national media journalist, Ram Charan opened up about his personal life and dropped a major hint about his would-be-baby's gender. The actor expressed his love for the special people in his life and shared that his first love is his wife, Upasana, whereas their pet, Rhyme comes second. However, what caught everyone's attention was that Ram said that his third jaan is on her way. Talking about the same, he said:
“My first Jaan is Upasana. My second Jaan is my pet dog Rhyme. And my 3rd Jaan is on her way.”
While Ram Charan clearly hinted that he and Upasana Kamineni are expecting a girl, fans were quick to find another hint about the same. On April 23, 2023, the couple's close friends hosted an intimate pink-themed baby shower for the soon-to-be mommy, which was attended by Allu Arjun, Sania Mirza, Kanika Kapoor, and their family members. For the event, Upasana donned a shimmery pink dress and was seen flaunting her fully grown baby bump. Connecting the dots, fans claimed that Upasana wore a pink dress as pink is denoted for girls. So now, it is highly anticipated that the Tollywood couple would welcome a baby girl in their lives.

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Upasana Kamineni revealed that she is currently in her third trimester and that she is due in July. Talking about embracing parenthood with her actor-husband, Ram Charan, she shared that they are very excited and added that the latter has been very supportive throughout her pregnancy. Adding that she would like to give her child the freedom to be themselves, Upasana said:
“Like every parent, we are also excited. The child will be allowed the freedom to be themselves but with a certain set of guidelines and responsibility that they actually carry forward because sometimes fame comes with a huge responsibility and it must be valued.”
Ram Charan and Upasana Kamineni are currently on cloud nine as they are expecting their first child together. The couple had announced the good news of their lives through a heart-warming picture note, featuring a photograph of Lord Hanuman on it. In the note, Ram Charan and Upasana requested their loved ones for their blessings as they embarked on a new journey. The message on the post could be read as:
