Ram Charan got engaged to Upasana in December 2011 and they married in June, 2012. The power couple was blessed with a daughter named Klin Kaara, born on June 20, 2023. Ram Charan's daughter will soon turn 2, and the actor and his wife, Upasana have always hidden their daughter's face from the paps. Recently, the actor revealed when he would reveal the face of his little munchkin.
During an interview with Nandamuri Balakrishna on his hit show, Unstoppable With NBK Season 4, Ram Charan revealed how his fatherhood journey has been and said that his little girl keeps him on his toes. When he was asked about the time when he would reveal the face of his daughter to everyone, he spoke about the condition. Ram Charan said that he would unveil her face only when she calls him 'Nanna' which means father. He also shared that when tensions arise between him and his wife, Upasana he sends their pet dog to cheer her up.
The superstar is a hands-on father, and it was on Father's Day 2024 when he showed a glimpse of his daughter on X (formerly Twitter). Ram's team members had taken up to his social media account to share a sweet picture of Ram's perfect father-daughter moment with his little one, Klin Kaara. Speaking of the cute snap, the Yevaru star is seen smiling to glory. In the picture, the Yevaru actor is seen with the brightest of smiles as he lifted his child in the air. Both the father and daughter were seen twinning in dark red clothes.
Earlier, during an interview with the Times Of India, the actor revealed that he wanted his daughter to follow his wife's footsteps and not follow his steps. This is because he said that there are many actors in his family, and he does not want his daughter to compete. Ram Charan added:
"Personally, I feel that if she explores her mothers side, it will be great because we have so many actors on my side we are so confused with so many releases in a year, and we are all fighting for release dates. Now I don’t want to fight with my daughter in this space.”
Ram Charan, earlier in an interview with the Times Of India, shared that he was responsible for feeding his daughter. He did it twice a day and loved doing the same. The actor also spoke about loving to do readings with her. Ram Charan had mentioned:
"Upasana (wife) is a fantastic parent, but when it comes to feeding her, no one can beat me. I can get her to finish the whole bowl of food, I have some superpower when it comes to this."
