Ram Gopal Varma DELETES Crass Post On 'Kiara Advani's Bikini Look' In 'War 2' After Facing Backlash

Hrithik Roshan starrer War 2 has been all over the news since its teaser launch. The Yash Raj Film is a sequel to the popular Spy Universe, which left viewers on their toes. The film also features Kiara Advani, and it is her first action film and the first one with Yash Raj Film. Her appearance in the film is marked as a major point of her career as people loved her appearance in a short teaser. Kiara's bold glimpse in a bikini by the poolside created a stir online, but it was a crass remark by Ram Gopal Verma, which left everyone disgusted. 

Ram Gopal Varma deleted his crass post on Kiara Advani after facing major backlash

Ram Gopal Verma, who is known for his controversial remarks, left everyone in shock with his crass comment on Kiara Advani's bikini pictures. Taking to X, he posted a still of Kiara's look in a bikini from War 2 with an offensive caption that many thought to be misogynistic and crass. He wrote:

"Instead of our countries and societies, if the war between Hrithik and Jr NTR is on who gets her back, then 2 will be a backbuster."

The comment was enough for netizens to lash out at the filmmaker. He received major backlash for his objectification and for writing such mean words, and netizens strongly condemned his words. Within no time, Ram Gopal Varma had deleted the post. Netizens lashed out at him, and one user wrote, "Ramu lost it long ago, don't you guys know? He has made many soft p*** Ullu type short movies and even collaborated with Mia Malkova in the past decade." Another one commented, "He has been losing it for a while. Yikes."

For the unversed, War 2 features, Hrithik Roshan and JR. NTR is in the lead roles, and it's a highly anticipated film. The teaser of the film was dropped on May 20, 2025. The film is directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The film is said to break all the records of a normal Indian thriller, and while people are wondering if this film would take the movie business back to the top, netizens were left highly unimpressed with the VFX shots.

The teaser showed Hrithik and Jr. NTR's clash. The exploding object in the backdrop with the actors' toned physique left everyone gaping. However, it was Kaira's quick 5-second glimpse that made her trend on the internet as fans were left delighted to see her flaunting her bikini body.
