Ram Kapoor Breaks Silence On Ekta Kapoor's 'Unprofessional Actor' Remark: 'She Can Say Whatever..'

Ram Kapoor, who made every jaw drop with his transformation from flab to fit, was loved by many last year. However, while he was busy talking about his beautiful journey, his one remark about one of his shows, which he did with Ekta Kapoor, landed him in her bad book. After which, she lashed out at him without directly naming him. She called him an 'unprofessional actor'. Now, Ram spoke about it for the first time and shared his thoughts. 

Ram Kapoor reacted to Ekta Kapoor's fallout with him

In an interview with NDTV, Ram Kapoor addressed the fallout with Ekta Kapoor and her remark on him. He stated that she can say whatever she wants to, but he will not say a word. Ram added that at the end of the day, she gave him some remarkable 'characters'. He was quoted as saying:

"She can say whatever she wants to, but I will not say a word. Because at the end of the day, she gave me what no one gave me."

Ram further expressed gratitude for Ekta Kapoor and how she believed in him when nobody else did. He added that she could say whatever she wanted till the end of his career. Ram also addressed his wife, Gautami's cryptic video, making fun of Ekta's accent, and stated that it was in a good way. 

Ram Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor's public fight

When Ram Kapoor appeared on Siddharth Kannan's podcast, he shared details of his glorious career. However, during one segment, Ram claimed that Ekta Kapoor suffered the consequences when she introduced an intimate scene in the then-superhit show, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, featuring Sakshi Tanwar. 

Ram stated that he hesitated to perform the kissing scene with Sakshi for the show, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. Ram revealed that it was Ekta, who had written the scene, and wanted them to perform. However, he told her that the kissing scene has never happened in the history of Indian television. 

Further, Ram revealed that Sakshi Tanwar's father was okay with performing the kissing scene as they trusted him. Later, Ram said that Ekta Kapoor suffered the consequences that might have hurt her. Ram was quoted as saying:

"Sakshi’s father said the most amazing thing to me… I can never think of anything with my co-stars… Sakshi’s father called me and said ki ‘Ram, tu hai, toh sab theek hai.’ They trusted me… so we went ahead and did it… it took two nights… Ekta suffered the consequences later."

Ekta Kapoor lashed out at Ram Kapoor with a cryptic note

After this statement went viral, Ekta Kapoor lashed out at Ram Kapoor. She not only asked him to shut up, but also did not name him. She even called him unprofessional. Ekta further added that she is staying silent to keep her dignity, but it is just a matter of time before this false information spreads. She had written:

"Unprofessional actors giving interviews about my shows should shut up. False information and skewed stories, can only last till I talk. But there is dignity in silence."
