When Ramanand Sagar faced difficulty in shooting Lord Ram and 'Kagbhushundi' scene in 'Ramayan'

Today, we are going to address one such memorable incident that had happened on the sets of Ramayan. For the unversed, once in an old interview, Ramayan's director, Ramanand Sagar's son, Prem Sagar shared an interesting incident that had happened on the sets when his father was shooting a major sequence of Lord Ram's childhood phase. Prem Sagar revealed that his father, Ramanand Sagar wanted to shoot Ram Lalla's playful interaction with a crow named Kagbhushundi. In the sequence, Ramanand Sagar wanted the crow to play with Ram Lalla and try to steal his food.

Further, in the same interview, Prem Sagar added that his father, Ramanand Sagar, had told almost everyone from the crew to go out and bring a crow. After much effort, some crows were captured by the crew members and bought on the sets. However, some of them flew away, and only one crow was left. Many people told Ramanand Sagar to tie the crow's feet; otherwise, it would also pass away. But the director had faith in God, and he did something that was nothing but magic.

According to Ramanand Sagar's son, Prem Sagar, the director approached the crow and said, "Hey Kagbhushundi ji. I am in trouble. Help me. We have to send this episode next week. Lakhs of people will watch it." As soon as he completed his prayer, the crow miraculously started walking around the child actor, who was playing the role of a young Lord Ram.

The crow started playing with the kid and didn't fly, which was what Ramanand Sagar wanted for his scene. The incident left everyone present on the sets of Ramayan absolutely shocked. For the unversed, Kagbhushundi was a crow who used to play with Lord Ram when he was growing up. The crow used to eat Lord Ram's leftovers as he knew that Lord Ram was the seventh incarnation of God Vishnu.
