Bollywood’s iconic couple, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor have always been an inspiration and have completed 40 years of marital bliss. Neetu Kapoor once said that she has literally grown up with Rishi Kapoor. She had met Rishi ji when she was just 14 years old and had fallen in love with the charmer. Rishi ji was already an established actor when he had met Neetu ji and was also considered the heartthrob of the nation. Kapoor had broken a million hearts when he had declared his khullam khulla pyaar for the love of his life, Neetu Singh (now Kapoor). Their beautiful on-screen chemistry was very much visible in their off-screen lives as well. On January 22, 2020, the couple completed 40 years of marital bliss and even after 40 years, their love and trust for each other are still the same.
According to the reports of SpotboyE, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor will not have a grand celebration for their 40th anniversary. The reports stated that Ranbir Kapoor and his girlfriend, Alia Bhatt were pretty excited and planned a grand celebration for them but due to the sudden demise of Rishi ji’s sister, Ritu Nanda on January 14, 2020, the celebrations were called off. Alia and Ranbir opted out the thought of a big celebration and decided to go for a private family affair. The reports also stated that Alia under the guidance of head chef, Dilip Pandit baked a cake for her to-be parents-in-law.
On January 17, 2019, Neetu Kapoor had posted a selfie on her Instagram handle with her beloved husband, Rishi Kapoor and she gave us a glimpse of what happens on a lunch date after 38 years of marriage. Sharing the selfie wherein Rishi ji was busy looking at his phone as his wife clicked a picture, Neetu ji had captioned it, “Lunch date. This is what happens after 38 years of marriage husband on the phone and I’m clicking selfies”. In an interaction with the Mid-Day, Rishi ji had shared how Neetu ji proved to be his rock during the cancer treatment in New York. Rishi Kapoor had retorted, “I have learnt to remain calm with my family and fans. I owe it to them; they have given me so much love and sent good wishes. Neetu has been my rock and has shouldered all the responsibilities. So, has been my family, who would drop in to give me the strength to battle my illness.”

Alia Bhatt shares a lovely camaraderie with the Kapoor clan, and we love when she is showered with praises from her soon-to-be-sasu maa, Neetu Kapoor. As per a SpotboyE report, the Kapoors wanted the work at their residence, KrishnaRaj to finish off as soon as possible. According to the reports, Neetu ji had told the architect to complete the construction of the basement by winter 2020 so that the Kapoors can have the post-wedding puja of Ranbir and Alia at their residence.
