While Alia Bhatt had denied her 2021 wedding reports with beau, Ranbir Kapoor, the actor had confirmed that had it not been for the pandemic, the couple would have sealed the deal in 2020 only. In an interview with film critic, Rajeev Masand, when the journalist had recalled Ranbir saying that he had wanted to be married by 32 and have kids by 34 and had asked him to comment on it, the Brahmastra star had retorted, “Well, I think it would have already been sealed if the pandemic had not hit our lives. I don’t want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick mark that goal very soon in my life.”
Talking about Alia and Ranbir’s love story, in an interview with the GQ magazine, the actor had said, "It’s really new right now, and I don’t want to over speak. It needs time to breathe and it needs space. As an actor, as a person, Alia is — what’s the right word — flowing right now. When I see her work, when I see her act, even in life, what she gives is something that I’m aspiring to for myself."
