Bollywood's handsome hunk, Ranbir Kapoor embraced parenthood with his wife, Alia Bhatt on November 6, 2022, with the arrival of a princess whom they named Raha Kapoor. Since then, the doting daddy has been experiencing a completely different phase of his life. In his recent interaction, Ranbir talked about the same and shared the perks of being a newbie father.
In an interaction at the Red Sea Film Festival, Ranbir Kapoor was asked how his life changed after embracing fatherhood. To this, he quickly quipped that it is a 'delight' to have his daughter, Raha in his life. However, he also added that he 'never expected to feel this way'. He also mentioned that since his princess completed one month, he and his wife, Alia were discussing the value system they would inherit to their daughter by 'setting an example'.

Further, in the same conversation, he mentioned how fatherhood hasn't hit him till now. Ranbir added that whenever he utters the word 'daughter', he sees stars in his brain. Ranbir also mentioned that he wonders why he took it so long to become a father and shared:
"It's a very exciting time in our life. We have been boyfriend, girlfriend a couple of years back and then we became husband and wife and now we are parents. Yesterday we were talking that just the word that 'I have a daughter' it still has not hit me. Because I have not said this enough. Right now, I'm saying 'my daughter', but when I say the word 'daughter', I was like, 'Wow, what is this?' There's stars in my brains right now. I'm wondering that why did I take so long, should have become a father sooner."

Finally, Ranbir explained how he and Alia would balance their work with giving quality time to their daughter, Raha. He explained that at a time, any one parent would be accompanying their princess and revealed:

"Where work is concerned, I think Alia and myself really value time away from work. I anyways don't work that much, I work around 180-200 days a year. She (Alia Bhatt) does a lot more work and is way more busy than I am. But we will balance it out. When she takes work probably I'll take a break. When I take work, she will take a break."
