Ranbir Kapoor is a very family-oriented person, and he was quite close to his late father and legendary actor, Rishi Kapoor. It has been 2 years since Rishi Kapoor's demise, but the actor is still alive with his works, as his last film, Sharmaji Namkeen released on an OTT platform a few days back. Ranbir Kapoor had stepped in to support his late father's last movie, and the doting son is leaving no stone unturned to promote it to the farthest.
There has been quite a buzz about Ranbir Kapoor and his ladylove, Alia Bhatt's April wedding. However, they have neither accepted it nor denied it. For the unversed, Ranbir and Alia have been dating ever since they had met on the shooting floors of their upcoming film, Brahmastra in 2018.

Now, as late Rishi Kapoor's Sharmaji Namkeen is getting viewed by a larger audience and getting appreciated, in a recent interview with a leading daily, Ranbir Kapoor talked about his late father. When he was asked whether Rishi Kapoor had ever given any tips on acting, the proud son revealed that his father had believed that every actor must find their own way. He said:
"My father rightfully believed that [every] actor has to find his own way. You have to learn from your mistakes, and develop your own skill set."
Going further in the conversation, Ranbir mentioned that the plus point of the late actor, Rishi Kapoor was his spontaneity in front of the camera, which the Barfi! actor also tries to imbibe. Ranbir said that Rishi Kapoor used to reinvent himself constantly and that passion he has thoroughly followed. Ranbir said:
"I have secretly imbibed from him his passion and his belief that it's all about the process and not the result."

On the personal front of Ranbir Kapoor, the media reports are suggesting that he and Alia Bhatt will get married on April 17, 2022, in an intimate ceremony at the RK Studios. The reason behind their hush-hush wedding ceremony is because of Alia's maternal grandfather's poor health. A source close to the couple revealed the date and further said:
"Alia's grandfather N Razdan wanted to see her getting married to Ranbir. A hush hush wedding has thus been planned on April 17 which will be a close knit family affair. The ceremony will be held at RK Studios and nothing extravagant has been planned yet."
On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor has a lineup of projects, including Brahmastra with Alia Bhatt, Luv Ranjan's untitled film with Shraddha Kapoor and Shamshera.
