Parenthood is one of the most challenging yet beautiful phases in a person's life. Ever since a couple comes to know that they're expecting a baby, their perception towards life changes. They no longer think about their needs and desires, instead focus on making their soon-to-be-born baby's life the best. The expecting couple starts planning for their baby's name, building his/her nursery and many other things.
Bollywood's celeb couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are also experiencing something similar as they are expecting their first baby together. The couple is currently on cloud nine and they are eagerly waiting to meet their little one. Daddy-to-be, Ranbir Kapoor is looking forward to embracing his fatherhood journey, and time and again, he has opened up about how he's preparing himself for the new chapter in his life.

The paparazzi culture is prominent in Tinseltown, and celebs have become quite accustomed to it now. However, some celebs try to keep their kids away from the media glares and ask the paps not to click the baby's pictures. Now, Ranbir Kapoor also opened up about his stance on the paps clicking his and Alia's soon-to-be-born-baby's pictures. During a press conference in Delhi, when Ranbir was asked if he and Alia would be fine with their child being clicked by the paparazzi, the dad-to-be said:
"I don't know. I haven't reached that point yet. We are very excited. We will take the right decision. There is a certain demand for a personal life on the media, but I don't know."
Meanwhile, rumours about Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt expecting twins had been doing rounds on the internet. A few days back, at a promotional event for his upcoming film, Shamshera, Ranbir had opened up about the same, and shut the rumours down for once and all. When Ranbir was asked to talk about the rumour that has spread like wildfire, he had given a witty reply that he cannot reveal which two were truths and which one was a lie. He had said:
“Don’t create controversy. They asked me to state three things: two truths and a lie. Now I can’t reveal what is the truth, and what is the lie.”

Earlier, in an interview with the Harper's Bazaar Magazine, Ranbir Kapoor had opened up about his wife, Alia Bhatt's pregnancy and talked about his first reaction when she told him about it. Reflecting on the same, the actor revealed that he feels extremely blessed and grateful for this new chapter in their lives and added that he's excited and terrified at the same time. He shared that he and Alia had been talking about having lots of kids in their lives and had added:
"It was something that Alia and I had been speaking about for a long time that we want lots of children in our life. We feel blessed and grateful. It’s a mix of a lot of emotions. I’m just extremely grateful at this point in our lives. There is no feeling like this and I really don’t know how to explain. But it’s like telling somebody what water feels like before you have ever even swam in it. So, I’m just terrified, excited, jubilant. We are dreaming about the future and all of that. It’s just a great feeling."
On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen alongside Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor in the upcoming film, Shamshera!
