But, for the unversed, he is back on the silver screen with back-to-back 100 crore films and is all set to wow the audience with his upcoming movie, Animal. Beforehand, he appeared in an interview show for Netflix, Awkward Interview with influencer, Aishwarya Mohanraj. He appeared in the interview to promote his last film, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar's release on OTT. However, he got candid during the conversation and dropped a major hint about Aditya Roy Kapur's relationship status.
For the unversed, Ranbir and Aditya are really close friends. During his present interview with Aishwarya, Ranbir got chatty and spilt the beans about Aditya's dating life. However, Aishwarya claimed that she and Aditya had been married in the past for 45 minutes. And to confirm that, Ranbir was quick to give the latter a call. However, after Ranbir called Aditya and put the phone on speaker, the latter and Aishwarya talked for a while.

During the phone call, Rabir was seen taking a dig at his friend, Aditya. However, after that, Aishwarya asked Ranbir if he would invite her on New Year's Eve since Aditya would be there. To such a comment, Ranbir then said that he is unsure if Aditya wants to be around Aishwarya since the former already likes a girl whose name starts with the letter 'A'. Now, this can be a major hint as there have been rumours that Aditya Roy Kapur and actress, Ananya Panday have been dating each other for a long time. Ranbir can be heard saying:
"He's always there. I don’t know if he wants to be around you. He was just being polite with you. I know he likes a girl starting with the letter A."
