Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will reportedly tie the knot on April 14, 2022, and social media is buzzing with various reports from the same. For the past few days, preparations were going on in full swing, however, the couple and their respective families have not revealed any details of the wedding or pre-wedding ceremonies.
A few moments back, celebrity paparazzi posted pictures of Ranbir Kapoor's mother, Neetu Kapoor and his sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, arriving at his house, 'Vastu'. In the pictures, Neetu looked stunning in a green coloured suit as she waved at the paps waiting outside the house. On the other hand, Riddhima had stunned in a beige-hued silk suit. Riddhima's daughter, Samara was also seen accompanying them.

As per the reports of the Hindustan Times, Alia's BFF will take charge of the joota chupai rasam and a whopping amount of Rs. 1 lakh is kept aside for the same. A source close to the couple shared details about the same and said:
"Mostly Alia’s girl gang will be in charge of stealing Ranbir’s shoes. A budget of one lakh has been kept aside for the same."
The source also stated that there will be no elaborate function and, on the contrary, to reports of the wedding being postponed, everything will happen as pre-decided on April 14 at Vaastu. The source further stated that the couple's mehendi will not be done by celebrity mehendi artist, Veena Nagda. Talking about the same, the source shared:
"Even the photographers are someone Grishma (Shah, Alia’s manager) and Alia have chosen, who have not done any celeb weddings yet. As for the mandap, a female set designer has been brought on board."

Do you know that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were supposed to get married in December 2020? In an interview with the Bombay Times, veteran director, Subhash Ghai had revealed the same and had said that when he had gone to meet Rishi Kapoor in January 2020, the latter had told him that he was planning for his son, Ranbir Kapoor's wedding to Alia Bhatt in December 2020. In his words:
"I remember in January 2020, when I had gone to meet Rishi Kapoor at his home to invite him to receive WWI Maestro award 2020 at our annual convocation of Whistling Woods International. We had a long chat as good friends. He was so happy to share with me that they were planning his son Ranbir’s marriage with Alia in December 2020 in a big way. But he left us all with a deep grief suddenly."
