However, things didn’t turn out how their combined fans wished for, but now during his recent promotional event, Ranbir Kapoor revealed the reasons behind staying away from social media. The actor explained that, as per his understanding, people who are on social media need to be entertaining while presenting themselves. The actor added that it is one thing that he lacks a lot. Ranbir admitted that he doesn’t know how to be entertaining on social media, and he isn’t the kind of person, who can lighten up people’s moods with his amusing antics. He said:
"Toh mera yeh manana hai ki jab koi social media par hota hai toh usey apne aap ko entertaining tareeke se present karna hota hai aur mere mai who baat nhi hai. Mere hamesha se yeh manana hai ki ek actor aur actress ki jo mystery hai, who kahi na kahi chali jaa rahi hai."
Further, in his revelation, Ranbir Kapoor also admitted with the increase in promotions during film releases, he fears that the audiences are getting bored of actors because of too much exposure. The actor explained that with too many promotional events, ad shoots, commercials, and marketing on social media, chances are high that people get tired of the actors and would want to see someone else. Explaining his views about the same, Ranbir said:
"Mujhe aisa lagta hai ki hum ad films kar rahe hai, marketing kar rahe hai, hamari films release ho rahi toh kahi na kahi audience ko lag raha ki yaar bahut jaldi bore ho rahe hai ek insaan se. Inhe bahut dekh liya ab kuch aur dikhao."
