Randeep Hooda's Shocking Revelation After 2 Years Of Marriage, 'Mera Shaadi Karne Ka Mood Nahi...'

The Jaat actor, Randeep Hooda, made headlines with the revelations that his family never wanted him to marry Lin Laishram because of their different background. Now, the actor made a shocking disclosure after two years of his marriage to Lin Laishram.

Randeep Hooda revealed he had no intentions of getting married

In a recent chat with Shubhankar Mishra, Randeep revealed he had no intentions of getting married. When the host asked the reason behind his late marriage to Lin, the actor said that he didn’t want to welcome a child who would undergo the process of schooling. Addressing the same, Randeep revealed: 

“Mera to shaadi karne ka mood nahin tha kyunki jaisa main dekhta tha. Main sacchi baat batau mein school mei bohot dukhhi rehta tha yaar. Toh main chahta nahi tha ki main issh duniya mein kisi aur ko lau jo ki schooling ke through jaye. Toh mera maan nahi tha par phir shanjog ho gaya aur main bohot khush hu aisa hua.”

In the same interview, Randeep shared that although he didn’t have any intentions of getting married, he is glad that he and his wife, Lin Laishram, crossed paths. Then the actor shared the reason behind getting married so late. He jokingly mentioned that because he was not a government employee, he had a late marriage. Speaking about the same, Randeep said:

“Thoda late lateef ho gaye. Toh main toh yeh joke marta hu ki mera shaadi aaj tak isliye nahi huyi Haryana mei kyu ki mere paas government ki naukri nahi thi.”

Going further in the same chat show with Shubhankar Mishra, Randeep revealed that there were complications in his marriage, and like anyone else, his family also wanted him to marry someone from the same caste. Addressing the same, the actor said:

“Bohot bohot complications the. Mere ma baap bhi chahte hai, har ek ke ma baap chahte hai ki unhi ki community mei shaadi ho. Jaaton mei toh bohot hota hai. Actually mei pehla apna family member hu jisne non jaat se shaadi ki hai. Aur kisi ne kabhi ki nahi hai. Toh sabko problem thi usse but dheere dheere who problem thik ho gayi.”

Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram’s love story

Randeep Hooda tied the knot with his lady love, Lin Laishram, on November 26, 2023. The couple had an intimate wedding in Manipur following the traditional Manipuri rituals. The couple met each other for the first time at Naseeruddin Shah’s theatre group Motley and eventually fell in love. As per reports, the duo started living together during the COVID-19 lockdown. Then, in 2022, the couple made their relationship official on Instagram.
